I was so excited for this to come out because I absolutely loved The Spanish Love Deception (it's one of my fave books) and I so desparately just wanted to read Rosie and Lucas's story. Let me just say, for this being Elena Armas's sophomore novel, I was blown away. Everything about this was just perfection in every single way. The slow burn between Rosie and Lucas, and the pure friendship they built with each other was so beautiful to read as it unfolded. Their chemistry was palpable and undeniable. Lucas was just such a sweetheart and you could tell just how he adored and cared for Rosie from the very start. There were so many cute and funny moments and I was just squealing into my pillow on more than one occasion. Lucas would speak Spanish and tell Rosie it meant something generic or silly but in reality, he was saying some really poetic and romantic things and I just swooned. Rosie is my girl; she deserves the world! And Lucas is definitely the one to give it to her. This honestly exceeded all of my expectations, and dare I say it, may be better than TSLD. I was LIVING for seeing Aaron and Lina in this book and knowing they were happy!

This is my favorite book of the series! I was waiting with bated breath for Layla and Caleb's book, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. This was such a sweet and steamy romance that hit all the right notes. Caleb is just all sunshine and pure heart which is so refreshing, because we often read about grumpy men and I loved the change of pace with having not only a sunshine male lead but also a sunshine female lead. I love them both to death. They try a fake dating experiment in order to improve their dating lives because they both think they suck at dating. What starts as an experiment very quickly gets real and I just love how in denial they both are through the whole thing, despite the fact that it is very clear how much they love each other and how they're meant to be together. It's so well written with such prose, and I love her way of world building and the secondary characters we've all come to adore. I'm sad that this is the second to last book because this is such an amazing series, but I'm also excited for Charlie's book. Please check this series out! You will not regret it.

This was probably my favorite book of the series (closely followed by The Bluff). I wasn't sure how it would go, because we knew next to nothing about Larke and obviously even less about Ronan. I was so pleasantly surprised by this! I'll admit, when the plot started to pick up and we know what's going on, I was like, "What the heck is this plot?!" It seemed crazy at first, but as it unfolded, I fell into it and couldn't stop reading, wanting to find out what happens with Larke and Ronan and Wren and of course, Ember and her situation. I was glued, page after page and I seriously did not want it to end. I loved Larke so much. She's fierce and an amazing single mother. I loved that she was just focused on her daughter and teaching, and really wanted nothing to do with men (even Ronan). And Wren is just the cutest, most adorable little thing. She absolutely had everyone wrapped around her little fingers, including Ronan. Ronan was everything you'd want in a book boyfriend; he seems cold and grumpy, but he has such a huge, caring heart and would move mountains for those he cares about. Every time he called Larke "mama", I was swooing. I loved the back and forth banter between Ronan and Larke! It was so well written and made me laugh out loud so many times. As always with Devney Perry/Willa Nash, there's a twist and I was so shocked by what occurred. But that ending was so worth it and a sweet reward!

I loved this book! This was hyped up, so my expectations were high and it did not disappoint. I love a good MM romance and this is one of my favorites. The chemistry between Wes and Jamie is amazing, and I loved getting to read about Jamie's journey of discovering his bisexuality and falling in love with Wes. I also loved Wes's journey with being a gay man, especially a gay man in sports, and the adversity he must face. It was interesting to see how they went from childhood best friends, to strangers, to rivals, to friends again and then to eventual friends, lovers and partners. I think this is so well written and I was so invested in this story. And those smut scenes? So hot I might have been burned!

I thought I loved the first book (and I definitely did) but I really loved this one. Wes and Jamie are now an established couple, in a committed relationship and living together while playing/working in Toronto, but Wes's team doesn't know that his live in boyfriend is... his live in boyfriend. Wes fears being out and wants to keep his boyfriend Jamie a secret until the end of his rookie season because he's not sure what kind of backlash he will face. The entire team, and everyone else, thinks Jamie is just Wes's roommate.

I really enjoyed the storyline of Wes and Jamie trying to navigate being in a committed relationship and not being out to others. Their journey is such a ride and I was waiting with bated breath to see how it would turn out. I absolutely love Blake and his unwavering support! He's seriously the best side character. I really felt for Jamie when he was going through his depression and feeling helpless and hopeless. I also felt for Wes and struggling with trying to be the player he wants to be and honor his relationship, while also worrying if Jamie might be missing out by being with him and not a woman. I loved how well they communicated, even with some bumps in the road and it's so clear how unwavering and deep their love is. I know nothing can break them and so happy with the way it ended.

This was such a cute book! Full of fluff and fun and a couple that I just adored. This features a single dad, age gap, best friend to lovers, fake dating, boss/employee with a few steamy scenes and a found family. Meyer and Farley were just such a wonderful couple, and Hazel was an amazing character. Hazel is deaf, so there is definitely disability rep with sign language in this book. I loved getting an inside look in regards to Farley being a comedian, and Meyer being her manager. The chemistry between the two of them was so palpable and real and I just rooted for them, from the moment they met each other. This story was so well written. If you're looking for a great pick me up read, this is it!

I have absolutely loved every single book in this series, and I was waiting with bated breath for Shiloh's story. I knew her story would be my favorite and I was not wrong. Shiloh was kind of the catalyst for everyone's stories in this series, so getting her own was really important and poignant, and we only got tidbits of her in other books. Then, we are introduced to Ramsey in another book, but even his appearance was brief and mysterious. Shiloh is the broken girl who was kidnapped when she was young, returned to her family, but never the same. I really love stories that feature this certain type of character because I always revel in seeing that person turn pain into beauty and find someone who loves them not in spite of, but because of their broken but beautiful parts. Ramsey Bishop is that person for Shiloh and I think the reason they worked so well was because they both had such hard pasts and such horrible things happen to them that no one wanted to come close to either of them and were scared off. But, they were never scared of each other and they just *got* each other, you know? They needed each other, they made each other better, and they made each other believe in good again. The healing that transpired with the horses but also with Aidan and Elliott was so heartbreaking at first, but a beautiful ending that I was so fitting for everyone involved. I'm a sucker for the small town, age gap, "I hate everyone but you", forced proximity, hurt/comfort, found family tropes and this book not only did them but did them well. The story is full of drama and suspense, but there was so much healing and redemption of of course, a beautiful love story. I just cannot express how much I loved this book!

Forced proximity romance is one of my favorites and this latest installment from Devney Perry did not disappoint. I was surprised I loved this book so much since I really didn't know what to expect with Scarlett's character. She was definitely stubborn and didn't make the smartest of decisions that got her into trouble, but I loved Luke's character and how they slowly started falling for each other. Luke is a genuinely nice guy and I'm so happy he got the love he truly wanted and a happily ever after. He was so sweet in how he wanted to protect Scarlett, doing everything he could to keep her safe while also giving her a better life than she was afforded up until this point. I loved that he worked for the law but he had to slowly learn to trust a disbanded motorcycle club and realize he wouldn't always be able to put the bad guy behind bars, and that he sometimes might have to bend the law or overlook it slightly in order to get real justice served. There was so much action in this book and this really moved the plot of the whole series along. The romance was sweet and this is definitely one of my favorites of the series!

This had the potential to be so much better than it was, but I thought it fell short. I was really excited about the premise of a former motorcycle club member falling for the daughter of a rival motorcycle club member, and the drama and angst that ensues. I just didn't think it really met my expectations and fell flat. In fact, I didn't feel much chemistry between Emmett and Nova, and it really bothered me that they were both (in some way) deceiving each other. Nothing about their relationship was honest at any point. I understand Nova was originally out to get Emmett for revenge, but it wasn't really giving enemies to lovers at all, because Emmett was totally unaware that she hated him. Plus, one person killed another person's family member and yet somehow they still ended up together and I just can't imagine wanting to be with someone who killed one of my family members. There just seemed to be so much history and drama to realistically believe that Nova and Emmett would actually fall in love and live happily ever after. I gave this more stars than it was worth solely because of being able to see all the other characters in the series and the conclusion of the series.

Lauren Asher can do no wrong. This is the fifth book of hers that I have read and I can honestly say, there hasn't been a book that I've truly been disappointed in. This is no exception! It's the first in the series and I love me some billionaires, so this series is perfect for me.

Hee's the tropes we find in this book: boss/employee, grumpy sunshine, workplace romance, Disneyland vibes, theme park environment, age gap, etc.

Mr. Rowan Kane is such a grumpy man, but Zahra is a ball of light and joy and sunshine. And, well... they fall in love. Rowan is the director of Dreamland (a theme park much like Disneyland) and Zahra works there. Rowan hires Zahra to be a Creator, in order to push out projects that will ultimately lead to his promotion to CFO, at the behest of his dead grandfather. Each brother in the series (Rowan is the first) receives a letter from their late grandfather, with stipulations as to what they need to do in order to receive not only their inheritances but the positions they all ultimately want within the company. Rowan has to spend six months as director of the park and come up with a project that revitalizes the theme park, thus earning him his inheritance and the position he wants.

Enter Zahra, who is supposed to help him with these plans. Well, Rowan gets much more than he bargained for; not just love, but different dreams than he ever expected!

I truly enjoyed this and I'm just going to say it: Rowan and Zahra > Declan and Iris.

Everything was perfection, from the romance to the plot to the smut. It's clear that while she falls first, he falls harder and the groveling he has to do to eventually win her back is some of the best I have ever read. Rowan's had a hard life, which leads him to be the grumpy man he is today, but Zahra shows him how to truly LIVE and what's most important in life. Rowan's character development was so well done. He realized the mistakes he made as a businessman, valuing profit over people and I loved the difference he made at the end.

Rowan's relationship with Zahra's siser, Ani (who has Down syndrome; yay for representation) is just so heartwarming and beautiful. I absolutely LOVED this part of the book.

Rowan taking Zahra to meet her favorite author? YES. Rowan watching all seventeen versions of Pride and Prejudice for Zahra? YES. Rowan helping her with her drawings? YES. Rowan's relationship with Ani? YES. The Disney codas? YES. The groveling Rowan did? YES. The sex they have in this book? HELL YES.

Can we talk about the condom scene? I was actually so touched by this because the depths of trust he has for Zahra were just so evident and I loved that part so much. He had been hurt and betrayed so many times by women taking advantage of him in the past in this manner, that to trust Zahra with this, knowing the implications for him, was just beautiful in so many ways.

My other favorite part: *spoiler* The pin at the end where Zahra reveals to Rowan that she is pregnant. I just about died at the part. It was SO PERFECT.
