Forced proximity romance is one of my favorites and this latest installment from Devney Perry did not disappoint. I was surprised I loved this book so much since I really didn't know what to expect with Scarlett's character. She was definitely stubborn and didn't make the smartest of decisions that got her into trouble, but I loved Luke's character and how they slowly started falling for each other. Luke is a genuinely nice guy and I'm so happy he got the love he truly wanted and a happily ever after. He was so sweet in how he wanted to protect Scarlett, doing everything he could to keep her safe while also giving her a better life than she was afforded up until this point. I loved that he worked for the law but he had to slowly learn to trust a disbanded motorcycle club and realize he wouldn't always be able to put the bad guy behind bars, and that he sometimes might have to bend the law or overlook it slightly in order to get real justice served. There was so much action in this book and this really moved the plot of the whole series along. The romance was sweet and this is definitely one of my favorites of the series!
