I binged this one so fast! Lots of family secrets, who can you trust? Georgia gets accused of murdering her half sister. She needs help and who better to help her find her innocence? The twin sister she just found out she had. The buildup and mystery kept me hooked the whole way through. That said, the ending felt a little underwhelming compared to the strong lead-up.

This book had a cool premise and different from anything I’ve read before. I liked the present-day storyline more than the past ones. The ending left me wanting more, but the twist surprised me.
I wish the characters and their relationships were explored more. I read it quickly, but it’s not very memorable.
If you’re not into fantasy, don’t worry, this one is pretty light.

A touching and heartbreaking listen. As a longtime Friends fan, especially of Chandler, I knew I wanted to listen to his book. Also knowing, I had to read it at the right time. It gave a raw, honest look into Matthew Perry’s struggles with addiction and how an addict’s mind works. It was hard to read at times, so many relapses, but also eye-opening. It’s even more heartbreaking knowing he was trying to get better and still passed away.
I listened to this one on audio, and it absolutely hooked me from the start! This was my first book by this author, and I was immediately drawn into the story. The Thrashers are an elite friend group that everyone aspires to be a part of. The plot revolves around Emily, who desperately wants to be one of them but ends up dead. What happened to her? The suspense kept me guessing the entire time, and I couldn’t wait to see what happened.

I was excited to read this one, even though I didn’t totally love Every Summer After. I’d heard it was about Charlie, and in classic Tash fashion, I was like—wait, who’s that🤣🤦🏻♀️
This book really does feel like the perfect summer read. While it wasn’t a favorite, I still enjoyed it and flew through the pages. Alice’s trip to Barry’s Bay with her Nan felt like a cozy escape, especially since they had special memories there. Charlie was super swoon-worthy and fun, and I loved the tension between him and Alice. It’s definitely spicier than I remember her other books being!
I think I would’ve liked it more if I read the physical copy. The ARC had weird font issues that kind of ruined my experience . I’ll be picking up the physical book and giving it a proper re-read at the cottage this summer and will report back!

I haven’t seen this book around, but it sounded interesting. When Shirin unexpectedly reconnects with Kian—a childhood friend she never truly got over—old feelings and unfinished history resurface.
I enjoyed the dual timelines, especially getting glimpses of the characters when they were younger. The story touches on some serious topics in a thoughtful way, which I appreciated. I also really liked how the female lead stood up for herself, both in her workplace and in her friendships. Overall, I found it an enjoyable read.

I’m not sure where to start with this book—I read it in just a couple of days because I couldn’t put it down. It’s a strong debut, and I love that the author is Canadian.
Julie and her twin, Chloe, were separated at a young age. Julie works at a supermarket. One day, she finds Chloe, a famous social media influencer-dead. Julie wonders, can she live Chloe’s glamorous life?
The first half gave me Yellowface vibes, but then things took a wild turn and I honestly wasn’t sure what was happening! Is it far-fetched? For sure. But somehow, it worked, and I’m still thinking about it. I have been asked if friends should read it, I say yes—just so we can talk about it afterwards!
I'm a little sad to say this one didn’t quite work for me. It started off really strong—I flew through the first half—but the second half fell a bit flat, and the ending didn’t quite make sense for me. However, it is a quick read and some will enjoy it if you're not looking for anything too twisty.

After LOVING Kill For Me Kill For You last year I knew I had to read this authors backlist.
This was the second book I read from the Flynn series, and after finishing Witness 8, I really wished I had started from the beginning. I felt like I was missing out on the full dynamic of the recurring characters. That said, this one was action-packed right from the start. It kept my heart racing and made it hard to put the book down. I genuinely enjoyed it—especially seeing the familiar characters return—and now I’m even more motivated to continue reading the rest of the series.
This book shook me! I couldn’t put it down, but had to stop reading at night because it gave me the creeps. The eerie atmosphere had me on edge from start to finish, and I absolutely loved the premise. The twists kept me guessing, and the setting really brought everything to life in a way that added to the tension.
It was everything I hoped for and more—definitely a highly anticipated read for me in 2025 and it delivered. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait for others to enjoy their experience too.
