I was excited to read this one, even though I didn’t totally love Every Summer After. I’d heard it was about Charlie, and in classic Tash fashion, I was like—wait, who’s that🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

This book really does feel like the perfect summer read. While it wasn’t a favorite, I still enjoyed it and flew through the pages. Alice’s trip to Barry’s Bay with her Nan felt like a cozy escape, especially since they had special memories there. Charlie was super swoon-worthy and fun, and I loved the tension between him and Alice. It’s definitely spicier than I remember her other books being!

I think I would’ve liked it more if I read the physical copy. The ARC had weird font issues that kind of ruined my experience . I’ll be picking up the physical book and giving it a proper re-read at the cottage this summer and will report back!
