This book had a cool premise and different from anything I’ve read before. I liked the present-day storyline more than the past ones. The ending left me wanting more, but the twist surprised me. 

I wish the characters and their relationships were explored more. I read it quickly, but it’s not very memorable.

If you’re not into fantasy, don’t worry, this one is pretty light.
