I've been a fan of Molly from the very beginning, and I’m so happy to see her story continue! The format of this book was absolutely fantastic. I really loved following Molly's journey as she starts to experience some new luck. The backstory with her gran was so well done. And that ending😭 I couldn't hold back the tears. This book has everything I love in a story—heart, emotion, and a connection to its characters.

Highly recommend!

I love that these are fun and bingy - great on audio

We chose this new thriller for our reading retreat, and while it’s relatively under the radar, it definitely had its moments. The book started with a lot of potential, keeping us hooked and intrigued throughout. I loved the format and how it made me suspicious of every character—honestly, I found myself blaming everyone and trusting no one. It really kept me on my toes.

That being said, the ending didn’t quite land for me. It felt like it missed the mark, which was a bit of a letdown after such a thrilling build-up. However, reading this with friends made all the difference. We spent the weekend discussing theories, which made the experience so much more enjoyable. We all binged it together, and while I wish the conclusion was different, it was still a fun ride.

This book was such an intriguing read. I hadn’t seen it around a lot, but I’m so glad Dawn added it to my radar. The dual POV’s kept me hooked, as I was constantly wondering how, or if, they would connect.

The story centers on women who were unknowingly being taken advantage of, and one woman, Jessa, who uncovers the truth and becomes an advocate for them. This story is both educational and eye-opening, shedding light on the chilling realities of pre-war eugenics. I found myself unable to put the book down, deeply engaged by the compelling characters and the powerful subject matter.

Highly recommend.

I’ve read every book by this author, and 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝒐𝒏 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 remains my favorite. I finished it in one sitting, which speaks to its engaging quality, though I can’t say I absolutely loved it.

It felt a bit like a Hallmark movie which is totally fine - it’s where you have to suspend your disbelief—but it was cute in its own way. The FMC is dedicated to her work, to the point of not caring about much else, and her journey to “get back home” involves learning a lot about herself. While I wasn’t a fan of the MMC nickname for her, it didn’t ruin the story for me. It’s not one that will stand out in my memory long-term, but I didn’t dislike it, especially considering I read it in a single sitting.

This book absolutely deserves all the stars, and I’m calling it now—it will be one of my top reads of the year. This story hit me with all the feels. I laughed, I cried, I even yelled—it's that emotional.

I’ll admit, I initially picked it up based on the cover alone last year, even though we all know we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. But it was the only reason I grabbed it, as I hadn’t heard of it before. Boy, am I glad I did.

The story revolves around Pumpkin, a 14-year-old girl who is unbelievably strong despite the challenges she faces. Her mom is awful, and though her grandma and aunt are a source of support, Pumpkin is eventually left to face things largely on her own. This is such an amazing coming-of-age story, and the emotional depth is just incredible.

I’m struggling to even put into words how much I loved this book. I don’t want to spoil anything, but I couldn’t put it down—I just had to know what would happen next to Pumpkin. My suggestion? Skip the synopsis. It gives away way too much. Go in knowing you'll experience a beautiful and heartbreaking story that you won’t forget. Trust me, it’s worth it.

A big thank you to my friend Kelsea for mentioning she was picking this one up. We had such a wonderful time reading it together and sharing our thoughts along the way!

I tried the e version and couldn’t get into it for some reason or maybe it was my focus?? Tried the audio and couldn’t stop listening. This had a good pace and it kept me engaged and wanting to know what happened!!! This story is about a female rock band. They are on their way to an event when the van hits some icy weather. One is dead and one badly injured but one by one they start disappearing. Definitely enjoyed it.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book—it was hard to put down! Having both the audio and Kindle versions was a great way to switch between formats, making the experience even more immersive.

The story starts off with a bang, quickly pulling me in. I appreciated the three different points of view, though one of them stood out to me more than the others. The writing itself was fantastic; it had a strong atmospheric quality that I really enjoy in books.

While the ending was a bit confusing, I did enjoy my overall experience. I’m confident this will be a big hit when it’s released on April 1, 2025.

Thanks to Netgalley, Macmillan audio and St Martin’s Press for my audio and e arc in exchange for my honest review.

I wish I had read the previous books in the series to better understand the characters, as that would have made it easier to connect with the story. While this book was a bit slow at times, I ended up enjoying it. The plot follows Hazel, who returns to her small town after her ex-husband is shot and killed. Determined to uncover the truth, she teams up with Kole (an ex lover) —who is now leading the investigation. Their partnership to solve the murder adds an interesting dynamic to the story, and while it had some pacing issues, it was an engaging read overall.

The story centers around a family in Guyana, where a father makes the decision to give his daughter away for six years, believing it will provide her with a better life and help the family as a whole. It's a profoundly sad and shocking coming-of-age story, and the experiences this young girl endures, left me stunned.

I listened to the audiobook, which was incredibly well done.

That being said, this book contains some heavy themes, so please be sure to check for trigger warnings before reading.
