I loved this! Getting to watch a war college for dragon riders was super unique and while a bit crazy, it was still so fun!

I loved Violet! When she finally decided to just give it her all in training as a rider instead of a scribe (as she was working towards all her life) she didn't let her past keep her down. She fought and scraped by to be the best she could be and when she gets her power....chills!

I love the enemies to lovers with Xaden! It got scorching πŸ₯΅.

Her bond with her dragons was hilarious and perfect. THE ENDING .....I was NOT expecting that and when can we get book 2... Tomorrow? It was a thrill ride of a book and I'm so in love with it!

Not my typical read but I really appreciate the author letting you know exactly what chapter some people might have a problem with. So if you want to skip that chapter you'll know which one.

I was very invested into Larisa. What made her tick, what made her choose the profession she did and her side alter ego. I didn't really like Quinn though so I did have a little bit of problem with them having a fake arrangement.

While most of the time Knox could be an annoying jerk, he was also very sweet when needed... especially to Waylay (only thing I'd change is her name...i just don't like it..sue meπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ).

I love the town! Everyone looks out for everyone else, even Naomi who is new and SO NOT LIKE her twin Tina who the town hates (for good reason). Naomi's parents, her best friend Stef, Liza J, Naomi's new found friends- Fi, Sloane, Max, etc are my favorites.

The times Knox and Naomi are together are definitely the "make you blush" type! There's a lot more to this than romance. There's character growth, sassiness, scary situations, protectiveness, promises and a whole lot more!

This book was just super fun all around. We follow Joan who works at a spa as a massage therapist but she's not enjoying the work really and her boss is on the brink of firing her. Then she gets a client Carmen bronze who is a romance author who is stuck and needs some inspiration. They strike up a deal where Joan will give dirt on the industry that she's in and Carmen will write a book out of it.

I love that this helped remind Joan of her real love of writing. I thought it was so funny that she started writing her book in the middle of doing the work for Carmen. Carmen is just this whirlwind of chaos I thought and she was just funny.

I really got a kick out of Joan's parents. Them having to downsize their living space and all the stuff that her mom has accumulated and tries to pawn off on Joan and her friend are just so bizarre.

What a great debut!

A great Southern fiction story in the time of a town called Jubilee getting ready for integration. This follows the family of the Mockingbirds. They are half Native American (the dad) and white (the mom). It was interesting to see how they are a bit looked down on just like their Black neighbors at this time.

Grace and Issac are little dears. Poor Issac falls ill and his family (his mother and Grace specifically) try to help in the best ways they can think of. I felt that Grave was brave in the things she did at the age of 13.

The story is heartfelt and sad. Of course there are parts that make you feel angry, but ultimately fall in love with (most) of this town and this family.

Super cute fake dating/engagement read!

Fix (Felix Dodd III) comes to Apple Valley when he's called by Lucy after his Grandmother "disappears" from the library. A lot of people are worried about Gram's health. Then Grams tells Fix he needs to marry to access his trust fund. Fix knows that he wants to help people once he gets the funds and so behind a long journey of pretending..... That's he dating and then engaged to Lucy.

I absolutely adored Grams first off! She is such a character and I almost always knew her hidden agenda for her grandson. Lucy is so helpful to everyone. She's really sweet and always thinks of others first. I liked her arc in the story.

Everyone at the library worked their way into my heart! Fix and Lucy are so very understanding of each other and their relationship is sweet.

I just love the way that Lange writes family drama!

Tara, Eddie, and Geraldine are a family thrown together with Geraldine raising and looking after the other two when their mom dies and their dad abandons them. Tara just got out of prison from a drug charge and upsets the home Geraldine has held together in her absence. But there's more to the story than that.... Tara was protecting someone.

Now they have to navigate Tara's reintroduction to society, Ger's obsessive hoarding and Eddie's brain injury. But they will get through it with each other and secrets come out that upset the balance they have tried so hard to reach.

Brian, one is the cops that interrogated Tara, keeps around now that she's out and compromises things when he gets involved with Tara all while trying to get Roland-the reason she went to prison. I didn't agree with him in the decisions he made at the tires he did but also saw that he really wanted to help Tara.

This was an absolutely adorable enemies to lovers! Emi and Nash both have reasons to push people away and it's a constant thing standing in the way of these two.

Emi dumped by her fiancee is forced to help (as maid of honor) at wedding venues for her best friend Brooke while Nash is forced to do the same (as best man) to Mac. They have been enemies ever since Nash called Emi "Enemy" in elementary.

I really liked Emi. She's so quirky.... Loves dancing and singing off key before things she has to be brave for, makes some spur of the moment decisions like leaving kickboxing class after some humiliation and buying a pet gecko.

Nash is a little lost and protects his heart by not getting close to anyone,  but the more he's forced to be near Emi, the more he is enthralled by her and starts to need to confront his actual feelings for her.

I just loved this idea of a bookstore owner who comes in possession of an unknown couple of author's books that tell opposing sides of a love affair!

I have to admit that I really looked forward to the stories from "Regretting Belle" and "Forever, And Other Lies" the most. Though I really loved Ashlyn's want and desire to find out the truth that these books seem to be missing.  She unravels this mystery with the help of Ethan who is tied to these books.

I could really just feel the angst of the long lost lovers and was so happy (and yes cried) with the way it all ended. This book makes me believe that forgiveness can always be possible and that everything we touch is left with an impression of what we felt. This book was just magical and I'm a big fan of Ms. Davis now

Ryker 😍 this man is amazing! When he gets Bryce and the girls, he takes to being a man they can count on so well! He has a hard time often saying what he means to say (um.. This is me in this character form!) and he does have PTSD to deal with so that might also be a factor.... But he's great!

Bryce is just such a special person! She has it in her head that she's not doing a good job with her nieces but I beg to differ. She's tough where she needs to be, kind and forgiving when she needs to be, and there are just some things that even moms have trouble with in relation their own kids.. She's not doing anything wrong because she's an aunt... It's life and bad this can happen but it's all in how we face it and keep trying and she does it well even with self doubt.

Now the girls are so precocious and funny and moody and give Bryce a run for her money at all times, but they are a tragedy made family who has to figure this life out together.

I loved this series so much!
