Lexi and Trevor are the ultimate best friends. They both know they don't want to ruin their friendship but they both pine for the other anyway.

When others get sick of them not being together, Lexi's sister signs her up on a dating app and the dates she goes on are so funny. Trevor also had to contend with his ex back in town who's on a mission to get them back together.

I absolutely loved that when they FINALLY (no spoilers, of course this is going to happen) let their true feelings known, I'm so glad there wasn't anything weird thrown in for one last "drama" and that they just were.

I love all the characters, even ones we don't get a lot of..like Lexi's Memaw and Rob. I'm looking forward to reading more in this fun town.

Super cute and clean read (a fade to black scene and some kissing).

Rebecca is auditioning for a musical show and has one problem..... She needs to ALSO play an instrument and well, she doesn't.

Ian is thrust into her orbit at work and living next door for the time he's here. He's here for only a few weeks but they become "enemies". But he also wants to help Rebecca because he can teach her guitar.  She agrees but only in exchange for giving him "fun" lessons to fully win back the girl he's "on a break from".

I like the relationship these two build . I love how supportive Ian becomes, especially as Rebecca's family isn't supportive, in her musical ambitions.

There is a scene at a nude beach that had me laughing and surprised (once again, a clean book so done tastefully). One of the best parts of this book is the way the handling of transgenders and dyslexia are approached.

I love that this book combines so many past favorite characters with some Lancaster's and some Jonquil's coming into play. I really enjoy how Sarah weaves so many different series all together and it's just perfect!

Here Artemis (the youngest Lancaster) helps her new friend Ellie hatch a plan to try and steer affections that are unwanted away from those that don't want it.

I hated how Ellie's family treated her. She seems most pleasant and does not do anything I would deem unworthy of a young lady in society from all the books I've read. I love seeing Newton and Charlie's antics together. I love watching Artemis and Charlie spar.

This is a sweet novella to start off the Huntresses series!

Emmy and Owen *sigh and swoon"

I loved that Owen (a firefighter 🔥) was a hero in love but doesn't realize that he was in love. He thought that romance had to be all about grand gestures and after being jilted, he didn't want any part of that. But the way he is with Emmy and how he treats her and helps her and looks out for her- all these seemingly little, insignificant things ARE romantic!

Emmy (a bookshop owner) is just my type of "weird". I get the longing in pining for someone that only sees you as a friend and nothing more. I love that she's patient with Owen.

The anticipation you feel while waiting for these two to "get it together!" is tantalizing and sweet and well worth the payoff!

I really enjoyed this novel. Bree just seems so down on her luck in the beginning and when the story starts to unravel as to why, it's twisty and edge of your seat. It's a great crime novel at heart. There are many players and we get a bit of perspective from a few of them but Bree mostly.

I really wanted to try and figure out what was going on before it was revealed but I didn't enjoy the book any less when I couldn't!

If you want a definite page turner, this book certainly fits.
dark mysterious medium-paced

Can I start off by saying that I LOVE that this takes place in a mansion, on a cliff, and it's TILTING towards the sea that makes this Gothicesque story super creepy with just that?
THEN, we get a decades old mystery surrounding this place and its inhabitants and the murders committed there?

Kit has no option after a 6 month suspension than to work where no one else wants to.... At Hope's End, where Lenora is an invalid and may have murdered her entire family!

My mind was just thrown for many a loop near the end of this book, I also had a hard time keeping things straight. A lot of twists and I suspected none of them!

I'm really liking magical realism when done in such a fun way and Jennifer's books, set in fictional Mystic Water, are some favs. Now, this is only my second one by her but I don't care.... My statement still stands.

I really liked how it started even though it was a real situation, I would cry! I really liked Honeysuckle Hollow house. I love that the author gave it a mind of is own. I really like seeing Kate again (from the previous book).
I like that Tessa asks 3 people if a big decision sounds like a good idea before proceeding. I like the natural and fun progress of Tessa and Paul's relationship. I like the town and how they come together when hard times hit their town.

I loved reading this book and need to go back to read Summer Mismatch because I ABSOLUTELY LOVED The Secret Seven - a group of grandparents living in the same retirement home and setting up their (mostly) unsuspecting grandchildren.

At the center of their matchmaking scheme in the book are Asher, a speech therapist and Eliana- a social media influencer with her "Happily Single" platform.

They both have their reasons for being single, but it's fun watching them both melt those walls they put around them while falling for each other.

The beach town setting, the trying to put together a "perfect" wedding, the pet turtle of Eliana, sweet Cameron (Elly's brother with Down Syndrome... If you know me, I love people with DS having several in my family), and the many life lessons make this a perfect weekend read to unwind with.

This may start out sounding a bit weird.
Dante meets Brianna at his goddaughter's wedding and learns she decorated the (delicious! He snuck some bites) wedding cake.
He's so enraptured by her beauty and how she "gently swears" at him and calls him old man (he's 12 yrs older) and he decides he needs to "kidnap" her to his villa in Italy.

So he does. Of course she's mad, but, with not being able to do anything about it, gives in.

This starts a delicious and sensual dance. I love that he doesn't pressure her to get in his bed, even though that's what he wants, but let's get less that direction if she so chooses.

I loved Brianna especially. She made the best of the situations she's in, even if it's not exactly what she wants. Dante was intense and I wasn't sure how well I'd like him, but he proved to be a good man. Even when he had to break her heart to protect her.

I really appreciate it the way the author wrote of the different traditions of each of the characters. I love that the MC female is half Indian so her roots are planted in her father's side even though he never got to go back to India himself. She goes over there for a friend's wedding but along the way, she keeps coming in contact with Tej.

Tej is a player who never wants to get married but he's summoned to India by his parents to arrange a marriage for him. It doesn't go the way it's expected and it's a little wacky and I'm not sure if it's in the realm of possibilities with their traditions or not but it makes for a laugh out loud moment.

Some of the people and what they want and how they act are just terrible but I did enjoy the story even with that.

The book could use another editing session (my only real gripe)
