My Favorite Kidnapper by Melanie Moreland

funny lighthearted fast-paced

This may start out sounding a bit weird.
Dante meets Brianna at his goddaughter's wedding and learns she decorated the (delicious! He snuck some bites) wedding cake.
He's so enraptured by her beauty and how she "gently swears" at him and calls him old man (he's 12 yrs older) and he decides he needs to "kidnap" her to his villa in Italy.

So he does. Of course she's mad, but, with not being able to do anything about it, gives in.

This starts a delicious and sensual dance. I love that he doesn't pressure her to get in his bed, even though that's what he wants, but let's get less that direction if she so chooses.

I loved Brianna especially. She made the best of the situations she's in, even if it's not exactly what she wants. Dante was intense and I wasn't sure how well I'd like him, but he proved to be a good man. Even when he had to break her heart to protect her.
