Fun Lessons by Leanne Treese, Leanne Treese
4.25
hopeful lighthearted fast-paced

Super cute and clean read (a fade to black scene and some kissing).

Rebecca is auditioning for a musical show and has one problem..... She needs to ALSO play an instrument and well, she doesn't.

Ian is thrust into her orbit at work and living next door for the time he's here. He's here for only a few weeks but they become "enemies". But he also wants to help Rebecca because he can teach her guitar.  She agrees but only in exchange for giving him "fun" lessons to fully win back the girl he's "on a break from".

I like the relationship these two build . I love how supportive Ian becomes, especially as Rebecca's family isn't supportive, in her musical ambitions.

There is a scene at a nude beach that had me laughing and surprised (once again, a clean book so done tastefully). One of the best parts of this book is the way the handling of transgenders and dyslexia are approached.
