Is this my FIRST 5 star review of the year?? Yes, yes it is. Not just for this book but for the series. This series is dark, exciting, sexy, dirty, heart breaking, it has betrayal, folk lore, and makes me laugh. I demand every love story from now on gets 4 books. If T.M. Hart chose not to right another book again I would be content. But a bitch just found out she is continuing this series and I am literally going to DIE from antici.......................................................pation

There are so many unanswered questions. So many minor and major characters I want to follow. I know that this series will consume me over the next decade of my life or for however long it takes to be written.

Focusing on this specific book. At no point did I feel unhappy, cheated, or rushed. While I usually prefer to read books that provide both the male and female prospective to try and gauge the overall emotional dynamic of a couple, reading all 4 books from Violet's prospective was welcomed. At one point I was scared that it might switch over and I didn't want it to. LOVE LOVE LOVE the playlists for the chapters. My music library has expanded and it helped me get the physical and emotional responses to drive me over the edge.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this series. It's FREE via Kindle Unlimited. BEST investment EVER.

After reading a very dark dirty and intense paranomral romance, I thought trying out a cute light hearted romance would help bring me back to reality.

Not gonna lie it did the trick. Not just that, it introduced characters from multiple series who were funny, mysterious, sexy, douchey, and overall interesting.

The main characters in this story Evan and Ivy were likable. I enjoyed their interactions and appreciated that I didn't have to ready through a crap ton of self reflective dialogue in regards to their feelings for one another. Also Ivy didn't have a tragic past of being hurt or never experiencing love before. I hate it when authors do that.

I liked her squad, her cat, and her neighbors. The ONLY negative about this book was the constant fat shaming by the protagonist. Or should I saw the fact that it was never addressed. This bitch was continuously went in on a minor character every chance she got and not one person said anything.

I hope that my girl Mika is going to have an amazing fucking book in the future where she hands everyone their asses for the way they enabled her attacker and society in general.

But yeah, solid story will be reading the rest of the series as well as the other two connected.

Just as the first book, there were several comical moments. Unlike the first book there was some what of a tragic/dark cloud however it was not the main focus point, I didn't have to read through pages of dialogue examining the characters thoughts and revelations and I appreciated that.

Sexy billionaire Mark is the last single Holbrook (apparently they have their own series that I must now immediately add to my read list), he is a workaholic with a chip on his shoulder, he is very sarcastic and a bit judgy.

Brea is a creative spitfire with two dads and a gold digger mom and sister. The dads were adorable but the females were basic cookie cutter lame bad girls. And they weren't even that good, I've read better villain just saying.

It's a solid story. The most memorable moments for me came from minor characters. If this had been the first book in the series I can't say that I would have felt compelled to keep reading. All of the books in this series are designed to be stand alones. I could see this being a fun FX Saturday afternoon movie.

** This is the second book where toys were introduced. I don't usually see that in romance novels at least not the ones I read so yeah, I'm picking up with Alina is putting down.

OMG the grandma is life in this story. When Netflix creates a movie based off this book whoever lands the role of the gran is for sure going to win so many awards.

First I just want to say that I love the openness and support that the Wedding in the City girls have. Their friendship is admirable. Honestly I'm a bit jealous that I don't have friends to review dick pics with.

Personally I was not a fan of Chris. At no point during this entire story beginning to end did he ever win me over. He seriously NEEDS therapy. I also want to know how he became a billionaire yet has so few connections in his community.

Also as I mentioned in a previous there are certain villainous characters who are just outright rude af and NO ONE says anything. I don't get it.

Grace is pretty chill. There was nothing about her that screamed special to me. But she was likable and relatable. She is hardworking, honest, and honestly TOO GOOD for Chris. However since she does seem to have her shit together mentally, emotionally, and physically I can see her being a good support system to him. She is very patient and handles meltdowns really well which are qualities needed to be with a man like him.

Lastly I hate birds. Zeus was comical and all but just ewww. Can't they have a pet monkey instead??

Sadly this was my least favorite book in this series. It only got two stars because of the kinky sex.

My issue was not so much with Sebastian and Amy but their entire circumstance. I've noticed a pattern where these couples just do NOT communicate with one another. HOW can you fall in love yet keep so many secrets or fail to confide in one another? I just don't get it.

The "adversity" presented in this story could have been avoided and address by just casual conversation. It was frustrating I wanted to scream.

I love Sebastian's back story. LOVE Alfie dearly. But due to my extensive knowledge on law presented to me by the courts of Judge Judy and Law & Order I could not get on board with the ridiculousness that was presented in this story. Like we are suppose to believe a freaking billionaire with exceptional lawyers would be derailed/blindsided so easily?!

This reminds me of my very first review in book one where I noticed that the toxic/rude/extremely unacceptable behavior of the antagonist just goes unchecked. I refuse to believe that so many bystanders would just say/do/accept it.

I'm not bashing this love story. There were a ton of funny moments, I am incredibly intrigued and plan to read all about the Svensson brothers, and anything else Alina writes. I am sad that this book just didn't do it for me. Hopefully when the next two ( Elsie and Sophie) books come out their story line won't be so unbelievable that it sinks the rest of the book.

I am so excited to read this series. The fact that the brothers grew up in a polygamist cult and are now responsible for their massive amount of siblings that their dad and many sister moms have abandoned is enough to make you read. Sadly I didn't get the full story of the compound and what a shit show their childhoods were. However there are tons of brothers and tons of books so I feel that each one will reveal a bit more in their story to keep me intrigued and stroke my weird True Crime/Cult fascination.

So the actual love story was very cute. I laughed a lot. Josie has no filter and reminds me of a former employer of mine, making her authentic. I love that at first glance she is perceived as ditzy and uneducated but once in her element she is a freaking powerhouse.

Having read the Weddings In The City series first, I was already familiar with a lot of the Svensson brothers personality. Mace was a new character for me. I very much enjoyed his neurotic, dramatic, and protective personality traits.

I look forward to reading the rest of this series

Finally the pattern has been broken! A couple with open communication, understanding, and forgiveness that did NOT require a grand and/or expensive gesture. I have enjoyed this author's books but the extreme dramatics were getting old.

Archer and Hazel are a cute couple. They didn't all madly in love within days of meeting. This book takes place over months which I appreciate. Their growth is natural and he opens up about his past more so than his brother.

The antagonist in this book held very little power as both Archer and Hazel remained rational. They had insecurities and admitted they were frazzled but never went off the deep end as other characters have.

This was a funny, sexy, and endearing story. Can't wait for the next.

The pattern has been revealed.

1. Our couple has a bad first impression
2. They are stunned when they meet again and find out they will be working close in some capacity
3. They flirt but resist
4. They hook up and fall madly in love
5. One of them has a secret that comes out
6. One makes a grand gesture
7. They live happily ever after

EVERY one of Alina's books follow this pattern. I'm not mad but after reading 7 in a row I am starting to get a bit bored with it. Am I still going to keep reading?? Of course! This series is funny and more and more cult info is revealed and I'm here for it.

Garrett and Penny are cute together. There was nothing really special about either of them. I didn't really fall in love with them or root for them. Heck at one point I kind of wanted Penny to explore the entertain the interest of another billionaire.

But as is all her books, the sex was hot, the townies and Svensson family is funny and heartwarming.

I absolutely loved this story. It was very Game of Thrones meets Pretty Woman with a dash of E-News Kardashian Shit Show.

Tarryn is so authentic. At no point was she irrational or over the top. She stayed level headed and pure of heart which was a perfect match for Clive who carries the same qualities. They were a fantastic match and I hope they make an appearance in future series books. Hint Hint I want more Escort books Leigh James!!!

I really appreciated the real world issues that were addressed in this book and how survivors can be impacted long term emotionally and mentally from experienced physical trauma. As a very analytical person I am guilty of picking apart story lines but at no point in this book did I feel that anything presented was far fetched.

In previous books in this series I wrote about how upset I was that forgiveness was given to shitty people who did horrible things and I felt this was a toxic message. Despite this being fiction I didn't like how the author had wrapped up the endings with a bow and undeserved forgiveness. I was on the edge of my seat expecting the same for this story and was soooo relieved to see that this pattern was broken and several characters were instead empowered and took charge of their own paths.

Highly recommend

Why is there always a delusional jealous girl trying to stake claim on a grown ass man? Why does everyone around her including the guy allow her psycho behavior?? I have no clue but apparently everyone in this series and every Svensson brother has a crazy gold digger stalker bitch who wants to take down our lovely heroine even if it means self sabotage. 4 books now of this shit. It's getting old.

What's not getting old is the juicy cult tidbits!! That alone could lead me to buy and read every single book and short story ever written about these brothers. Alina Jacobs could sell me 5 pages for $50 at this point.

I very much enjoyed Parker and Sadie's meeting. It wasn't cliché or unbelievable. I felt really bad for Sadie for being catfished. Sadly that didn't last long because I had to suffer through the whole "I need to lose my V-Card quest". I'm sorry I thought his was a book for grown ass people. I respect her being a virgin and wanting to lose it but the constant complaining and discussion was sad and I felt like I was reading a teen romance novel for a minute.

I am very happy that she had a strong friend group to rally behind her and support her but they were very immature as well. I don't' know any grown ass women who continuously give such shit advice.

Parker was pretty fucking hot. His backstory gave me the feels because he's the first to provide insight in regards to being left behind on the compound.

I liked that this is the first book where the girl doesn't fuck up. She doesn't have a big secret. While Hazel didn't either, there was still a fight, while in THIS BOOK, Sadie just gets pulled into Parker's shit. It was nice to see a change up is all.

I'm loving this series, I hope Alina continues to write. I really really really need Greg's story to be written. Just Sayin... Also Remy
