In Her Candy Jar

I am so excited to read this series. The fact that the brothers grew up in a polygamist cult and are now responsible for their massive amount of siblings that their dad and many sister moms have abandoned is enough to make you read. Sadly I didn't get the full story of the compound and what a shit show their childhoods were. However there are tons of brothers and tons of books so I feel that each one will reveal a bit more in their story to keep me intrigued and stroke my weird True Crime/Cult fascination.
So the actual love story was very cute. I laughed a lot. Josie has no filter and reminds me of a former employer of mine, making her authentic. I love that at first glance she is perceived as ditzy and uneducated but once in her element she is a freaking powerhouse.
Having read the Weddings In The City series first, I was already familiar with a lot of the Svensson brothers personality. Mace was a new character for me. I very much enjoyed his neurotic, dramatic, and protective personality traits.
I look forward to reading the rest of this series
