Between Her Biscuits
by Alina Jacobs
Why is there always a delusional jealous girl trying to stake claim on a grown ass man? Why does everyone around her including the guy allow her psycho behavior?? I have no clue but apparently everyone in this series and every Svensson brother has a crazy gold digger stalker bitch who wants to take down our lovely heroine even if it means self sabotage. 4 books now of this shit. It's getting old.
What's not getting old is the juicy cult tidbits!! That alone could lead me to buy and read every single book and short story ever written about these brothers. Alina Jacobs could sell me 5 pages for $50 at this point.
I very much enjoyed Parker and Sadie's meeting. It wasn't cliché or unbelievable. I felt really bad for Sadie for being catfished. Sadly that didn't last long because I had to suffer through the whole "I need to lose my V-Card quest". I'm sorry I thought his was a book for grown ass people. I respect her being a virgin and wanting to lose it but the constant complaining and discussion was sad and I felt like I was reading a teen romance novel for a minute.
I am very happy that she had a strong friend group to rally behind her and support her but they were very immature as well. I don't' know any grown ass women who continuously give such shit advice.
Parker was pretty fucking hot. His backstory gave me the feels because he's the first to provide insight in regards to being left behind on the compound.
I liked that this is the first book where the girl doesn't fuck up. She doesn't have a big secret. While Hazel didn't either, there was still a fight, while in THIS BOOK, Sadie just gets pulled into Parker's shit. It was nice to see a change up is all.
I'm loving this series, I hope Alina continues to write. I really really really need Greg's story to be written. Just Sayin... Also Remy
