After reading a very dark dirty and intense paranomral romance, I thought trying out a cute light hearted romance would help bring me back to reality.

Not gonna lie it did the trick. Not just that, it introduced characters from multiple series who were funny, mysterious, sexy, douchey, and overall interesting.

The main characters in this story Evan and Ivy were likable. I enjoyed their interactions and appreciated that I didn't have to ready through a crap ton of self reflective dialogue in regards to their feelings for one another. Also Ivy didn't have a tragic past of being hurt or never experiencing love before. I hate it when authors do that.

I liked her squad, her cat, and her neighbors. The ONLY negative about this book was the constant fat shaming by the protagonist. Or should I saw the fact that it was never addressed. This bitch was continuously went in on a minor character every chance she got and not one person said anything.

I hope that my girl Mika is going to have an amazing fucking book in the future where she hands everyone their asses for the way they enabled her attacker and society in general.

But yeah, solid story will be reading the rest of the series as well as the other two connected.
