This was a quick bonus story. Nothing really special. Just Mace being neurotic and Josie trying to do something nice.

This was such a cute short story. I love how the brothers always create command centers and take everything to the next level. Also since I read the Weddings In The City series first, it's exciting to get background on Evan's life before Ivy.

Archer is hilarious in this short story. It's definitely a MUST for those reading this series in order.

I am obsessed with reading any Meg and Hunter tidbits. Despite reading the series in order, I am trying to NOT read the prequel that just dropped as I feel like it wouldn't be fair to the readers who read this series as it dropped.

This is a super quick behind the scenes look at into the dynamic these to have. You do not want to miss it.

Best couple of the series!

Avery and Blade had fantastic communication and chemistry. Like the rest of the series books there was a secret but nothing earth shattering. There were jealous witches, but they were petty not vindictive. This was all around a good book to read for a good laugh. I was nervous since a majority of the book takes place in Manhattan but the limited interaction with the other brothers was satisfying.

Ida is starting to get on my nerves. At first her sexually suggestive comments and wacky behavior was cute and funny but now I feel like she's just really pushy, self centered, inconsiderate, and overly inappropriate.

Edward is the BEST GBF a girl could ask for. I love that he was so protective of Avery. His reaction when things went south was everything I've ever wanted. Same with Shirley she is not one to be messed with.

That being said, there was still very toxic behavior that was simply accepted and I just don't understand it. BUT I'm a very forward person and rude people can catch my hands and/or be sliced with my words without a second thought. Is it possible everyone in this series fears confrontation?? Who knows.....

This story was not as heavy on the cult tidbits but it gave enough to quench my morbid cult fascination. Having read the next series out of order I know that the brothers make major moves and I can't wait to read it all go down.

This would be a great Netflix RomCom. It's probably already been done before but I want to see it again.

** While Blade's sexcapdes were not as hot as some of his older brothers I appreciated that there wasn't a bunch of dirty talk and sexual innuendos in this book. While I enjoy both, it was starting to get out of hand.

This was a cute short story that takes place 6 months after book 5. Nothing really noteworthy. But funny.

This was a quickie story nothing special. Audrey was mentioned a lot, so maybe she will pop up in a future book. Who knows

This was a disappointing short story. I will be anxiously waiting for Alina to announce the next book in the series.

Did I miss the story of Greg and Belle? I know that this is Meg and Hunter's book but we all know that they were inevitable. I enjoyed the cult aspect. The mayoral race was funny. I was excited about more Crawford, the teen drama, and Remy. Kind of annoyed by Hazel, I feel like she was very immature in this book. Also the money aspect hurt my brain. These are billionaires who can buy yachts, designer clothes, and rock 2 million dollar watches but not secure decent housing????

Also and I will always say this despite the fact that this is all fiction but why does everyone suffer from trust and communication issues and believe the antagonist so easily?? How hard would it have been to pull out a phone and confront your so called love? Especially Meg who dealt with Sadie's "kidnap" drama. *hard eyeroll*

Lastly I'm curious how much the other guys are telling their significant others. Women talk and in the real world someone's girlfriend would have had an opinion and/or told Meg what was up.

First of all this is NOT a short story this is a novella reaching into full blown book. But I was okay with that. Having started this series out of order I had NO idea what had happened between Meg and Hunter. I almost liked the mystery and was going to WAIT to read the prequel once I discovered it but curiosity got the best of me.

This was a completely different Meg than I was introduced to. This Meg is so innocent, soft, and raw. Hunter is an arrogant jack hole who can crawl in a hole and die. What he did would have me on edge and out to destroy him too.

I don't' want to drop spoilers but if you too are reading out of series and at any point you thought, wow Meg is really acting like a crazy bitch, just know that he deserves it and after reading this, you will want her to up her level of petties by a million.

I love that their story spans years because there are several other couples who are complicated and can relate. IF you have never read a book in this series, I would recommend starting with this one and going in order.
