Dean is in Canada for a work visa but finds himself needing a new place to stay for the 6 months he's there. With the help of some strangers he met at the diner, he ends up staying with Adam. 
Adam is a scarred recluse who reluctantly agrees to let Dean stay with him to help with money. 

I really thought I was going to enjoy this book but it really lacked for me and I felt no connection to any of the characters. Another thing that was missing was a connection between the two of them and some type of romance. I feel like they went from nothing to something so quick but... How?? How did they get to that? Wheres the connection? Passion? Chemistry? Romance? I felt none of that

OH.MY.EFFIN.HEART. these two tugged at my heartstrings the entire time. Eva did it again and absolutely rocked it with Sage and Lyla. I really really don't want to spoil anything with this book because it's just that good that you have to read it yourself to fully enjoy these two.

Sage and Lyla have always been drawn to each other since they were first introduced as kids. As they got older their feelings only got more intense but they couldn't act on them. Sage was patching in to the Twisted Kings and Lyla was the daughter of the MC pres. They could not hide from their feelings and one thing led to another 😏 

The book takes you on a journey throughout the years, and man were those years tough. From when they were kids, then to when tragedy struck and Lyla fled, to eight years later when Sage and Lyla were reunited. You get the full picture of everything that happened. The twist and turns this book will take you on will have you turning the pages so fast and have you completely consumed that you will finish the book in one sitting, just like I did.

These two have been through it, pain, grief, death, destruction. There is so much that happens throughout the years, between them, to them and to the ones they love. It's absolutely heartbreaking. They have so much against them but their chemistry, their passion and their love, outshines everything else. Lyla said to Sage once, “𝘐 𝘴𝘢𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦. 𝘠𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘺.” and by the end of the book you will agree with her 100%.

I can't wait for more in this series and with Mason and Reed next, I'm so excited!!!

I have been looking forward to more on Malakai and Olivia since Like a Hurricane and these two did not disappoint! I love everything Ria writes and she absolutely delivered with this book!!!

These two were perfection. True enemies to lovers and all the glorious tension and angst that goes along with it. The banter, chemistry, dirty talk ahhhh it was all amazing!!! and the MY WIFE 🥵🫠

Olivia is so strong and fierce and doesn't put up with any crap from Malakai. Those pranks had me cracking up when she would pull them on him. Malakai is a straight walking red flag but notices that over time, Olivia is slowly breaking through his defensives. I loved how he began to soften up around her and for her. They both became what each other needed in their lives. 

They both tried to fight their feelings for so long but really were only fooling themselves. As they begin to give in to their feelings and became vulnerable with each other which led to outsiders trying to interfere and tear them apart. 

I already hope we get some more books with some side characters.. Willow and Sebastian??? Killian and Savannah?? please please please make it happen 🥺

This was such a cute fun read. 

Bryson is on his way back to the hotel after his son's hockey game, when he gets a flat tire. A sexy stranger stops to help him, when the flat is fixed, Bryson realizes the guy who helped him, his none other than Smitty, the guy his son just got into a fight with during the game. They have one hot night together with the thought, that they will never see each other again, that is until months past and Smitty ends up in Bryson's small town of Elmwood to take a coaching job for the high school hockey team. 

I loved both of these characters so much. Bryson was so wholesome and his dad jokes were on point 🤣 Smitty was hilarious and the banter was top notch, also their chemistry was hot 🥵. 

They both have some past trauma and some baggage they have to get over but they both learn to move on and heal, together. They both got the love and happiness they deserve. That epilogue, perfection 🥰 

 I'm excited for the quiet, shy hockey star Denny's book next.

I think at this point anything that Piper Rayne writes I'm going to love sooo much. This was a great start to a new small town series and I loved it sooo much. 

Ben and Gillian were high school sweethearts until he broke her heart and left town to pursue his dreams. Years later and he is back in town and determined to win back his girl.

I loved these two so much! Ben stopped at nothing to show how serious he was about staying this time and being there for Gill and her son Clayton. Gill is such a strong, loving sweet person to everyone.

The chemistry between these two was insane. They are the definition of soulmates, no matter the time apart, it was as if they were never apart and they fell right back into their all consuming love. 

I LOVED all the side characters (minus Waylon, but that good for nothing barely made an appearance). Emmett had me cracking up every time he made an appearance. Can't wait for more in this series.

I want to start by saying that there is mention of miscarriage that had no trigger warning or mention of it before the story begins. I definitely feel like it should have been mentioned as that could potentially be extremely triggering for some. 

Jenna's mother is ouright mean and nasty. For what Jenna went through and to have her mother act like that directly after, umm excuse me what?!?!?!? 🤬 And she doesn't get any better as the story goes on either.  The way that Jenna caved in and conformed to her mother with the way she treated her was insane to me.

This was a cute, heartwarming story. Deacon coming home after his accident was just what they needed to rekindle what they once shared. While they definitely had to work hard for their HEA, they found love again and got the second chance they deserved.

I adored Alex in the first book and was looking forward to getting his story buuuuuuut this one really lacked for me. It was so long and drawn out that I noticed that I would lost interest from time to time due to the gaps and the slowness of everything. 

I really enjoyed the relationship between Alex and Ian. The tension and then the exploration of their feelings. 

feel like it definitely could have been significantly shorter though.

this was a new to me author and I enjoyed the second chance romance between Jakob and Ethan. 

they have been separated for years but end up running each other again. As they are catching up, Ethan gets a call from a student who is in need of help. Instead of running Jakob is there by Ethans side.

The story follows them as they traverse their new found friendship as they navigate how to help the moody teenager Alex. 

This was a cute read with an added element of suspense. 

My first Con Riley book and it was so good. 

his captivated me from the start and I enjoyed diving into this world. The characters were sweet and the plot was something new for me to read but really enjoyable and sweet. 

My only thing that the ending felt rushed on Liam's end while Rowan felt paced out perfectly to get his story out completely.

Maya is back in Vegas with her besties Angela and Emily, for a childhood friends engagement party. She has sworn off returning after the last two times she's gone she has gotten married while drunk.  She is determined to enjoy her time in Vegas and NOT get married, but nothing goes as planned.

Sloan needs to get away after an endorsement deal gone wrong and needs to stay out of the spotlight. He ends up going to Vegas with Elliott, who happens to be Emily's sister. There is a mix up and they end up staying at the same condo as Maya and the girls. They all go out and enjoy a night out together. Maya and Sloan wake up together the next morning and as their memories begin to come back, they both realize they are married 🥴

They decide to stay together to help each other out and slowly they realize that nothing about their relationship is as fake as they thought. Both Sloan and Maya are likable characters and there were a lot of funny moments throughout.  This was a cute fun quick read.
