These Voss brothers are something else 🤤

I was gripped from the beginning with this retelling of Rapunzel. There was spice, suspense, broody hot men and so much more. The twist and turns this book took you will have you turning the pages to find out what happens next!

Kol has searched for Rapsody for years after she left him high and dry. He finally finds her, on her wedding day.. ..to another man. So what would any sane man do??? Stop the wedding of course, but in true Kol fashion, he stops it by kidnapping her, flying her thousands of miles away and holding her hostage in his mansion.

I honestly fell in love with both Kol and Rapsody instantly. They are so different from each other but together they are straight perfection. Kol has not had an easy life and you can see that in the way he thinks and his unhinged behavior at times. Rapsody has lived an extremely sheltered life and has never been able to do anything that she wants or what makes her happy. 

They were both deceiving themselves when it all started, Kol with his revenge plan and Rapsody with the amount of freedom she had. Little by little they opened up to each other and ending up being end game after all. I loved watching these two fall back in love again. I loved how Rapsody grew into such a strong woman by the end of the book. 

I can't wait to see what the other Voss brothers have in store with their books.

Five years earlier, Summer finds her boyfriend and best friend in bed together, ghosts them both and heads to Bitterroot Valley where she has always been the happiest. 

This was such a cute and sweet book. Summer is so kind and happy all the time. She has an amazing girl group and a community that supports her. She finally decides to explore things with Chase and it blossoms really quick with them.  

Chase is so many things and definitely very protective of Summer. He was so patient while she figured out what she wanted her life to look like and waited until she was ready to pursue things. He is so caring and wants only the best for Summer and supporting her in everything that she does.

There is a bit of suspense woven into the plot as well. I will say that I had it figured out the first few times this person made an appearance. 

I can't wait for the rest of the series and more on these Wild siblings!

Back on campus, Ben learns of a hot new professor that one of his roommates has. He wants to check out the hottie so he ends up meeting up with his roommate at the end of the class to sneek a peek. Shock is written all over Ben when he comes face to face with his passion filled summer fling, Ian. 

These two had such a strong connection but Ian had some issues in the beginning with his ethical viewpoint on being with a student at the same college. They finally give into their feelings and explore their relationship.

I really enjoyed reading these two. Their exploration on some new kinks was handled really well and their connection grew even deeper. The side characters were amazing as usual and I can't wait for Sasha and Rio's story next.

OH.MY.DEBUT.NOVEL!!!! umm excuse me, HOW????? How is this Ruth's first novel. It honestly reads like she has been writing for years, YEARS!!! It was absolute perfection! 🥹

Felicity finds herself moving to Seattle unexpectedly due to her husband's job. After being there for almost two years, she has finally decided to take the steps and leave her controlling narcissist husband and loveless marriage. 

Jon is known as the playboy hockey superstar but finds himself wanting more in life. After a chance encounter with Felicity where they literally run into each other, he can't get her off his mind. After that encounter they seem to be running into each other more and more and its his mission to make Felicity his and prove he's a changed man. 

Watching these two fall in love was so sweet and perfect. The things he did for her had me swooning and the mouth on that man 😮‍💨 He was so patient and encouraged her to spread her wings and fly while showing her the true love that she deserves. 

Besides Evil Elliot and Amie, I loved all the side characters and hope that all of them get their own book. I gotta admit I am soooooo excited for Zach's story next.

Just like the previous books in the series, I was hooked and could not put it down. This had me in the feels and was another absolute banger of a book!!!! 

First, ugh I wish I had a Russian hottie talking sweet nothings in my ear all the time 😩 (also loved the footnotes that were added as I was reading so I could understand what he was saying 🫠)

This book was everything, it was heartbreak, grief, trauma, healing and so much more. Nevaeh and Roman were both broken souls that found love and comfort in each other and healed parts that neither thought would be possible. 

I felt like when Nevaeh met Roman for the first time and felt that instant connection she realized what she was missing in life and wanted to find that happiness again. Their drunken vegas wedding was just the catalyst for them to actually act on their feelings  and I am soooo glad they did. 

Their connection was beautiful and the fact that they both were open and vulnerable with each other, made their relationship even better. Their story will take you on such an emotional rollercoaster but I felt it was absolutely necessary for both of their stories to  find the all encompassing love they've been missing and heal from their past trauma/grief.

I have a lot of thoughts on this book. While the story was emotional and kept me invested it just didn't hit the mark for me completely. 

The whole religion thing was really present and it was an ick for me. This is a me thing completely. Thad come on my dude, you were suppose to be this holy dude but the things you did that put yourself at risk AND not even tell lacy about it... come on 🥴🙄

lacy was all over the place. how is he an athlete and he went so hardcore at times. how in the world did his body recover so fast?!?!?!?!?

I have been wanting more on Quinn for awhile now and I'm so glad his book is finally here. Just as I thought, I absolutely loved him!! Quinn and Tristan's connection was amazing and their story had me hooked.

You may think that these two wouldn't work but they do. Quinn is loud and adventurous while Tristan is quiet and anxious. They complement each other so well. They have great communication, are super considerate and sooooo sweet. 

The downfall for me came in the second half of the book. The fake dating didn't last very long, there could have been a lot more drama and angst involving the ex and it all felt that the ending was just missing a lot of things that should have been talked about while it happened instead of getting a glimpse of it after it happened. 

Even with the second half falling a little short for me, I absolute loved these two and can't wait for more in this series.

This was a cute debut novel from the author. 

These guys went through hell and back to get to their HEA but they both deserved it. 

I will say that while I enjoyed the book, I didn't feel any connection to the two main characters 😕 I absolutely loved Lane!!
