I adored Alex in the first book and was looking forward to getting his story buuuuuuut this one really lacked for me. It was so long and drawn out that I noticed that I would lost interest from time to time due to the gaps and the slowness of everything. 

I really enjoyed the relationship between Alex and Ian. The tension and then the exploration of their feelings. 

feel like it definitely could have been significantly shorter though.
