this was a new to me author and I enjoyed the second chance romance between Jakob and Ethan. 

they have been separated for years but end up running each other again. As they are catching up, Ethan gets a call from a student who is in need of help. Instead of running Jakob is there by Ethans side.

The story follows them as they traverse their new found friendship as they navigate how to help the moody teenager Alex. 

This was a cute read with an added element of suspense.
