MacKayla, known as Mac is living her life as a student and bartender. Her older sister attends university in Dublin, Ireland. She receives a devastating phone call saying her sister was killed. They close the case and Mac wants justice. She ends up quitting her job and withdrawing from school and goes to Dublin to investigate her sisters murder. There she is confronted with a world of Fae and vampires. Will she be able to find her sisters murderer while navigating his new world?
I really enjoyed Mac and how she was trying to find her sisters murderer. I loved the connections she made with a few other characters to help her out. I do wish there was actual romance and more to the world to find out about. But, I really enjoyed this book.

This is a hefty book! It’s 872 pages and is long. There is a lot of information in it and there was a lot of tedious things in it that made me bored and made me want to DNF the book quite a bit. I’m so happy to be finished with it. I do love Kira and her growth. The Wallfish characters were my favorite and I loved how they interacted.

Daphne has been out on the marriage market for two seasons and has not secured a marriage. Everyone doesn’t think of her as a love interest, but as just a friend. The Duke of Hastings is back after traveling for about five years and his horrible father has passed away. He doesn’t want to be attending social balls, but ends up going. The mama’s want the Duke and their daughters to be a pairing. So, The Duke and Daphne decide to make a ruse. They will fake court to get Daphne more suitors so she can find a love match and then the mama’s can get off the Duke’s back. Will it work? Will sparks fly?
So, I’ve watched Bridgerton and loved it. I just had to read the novels since I loved the show so much. I went to Walmart and used some Christmas money and snagged this book. It’s definitely different from the show and less drama, but I highly enjoyed it. I loved Daphne and the Duke so much. I cannot wait to read more of the novels.

Isa is a nineteen year old and is treated poorly by her peers. She gets a job at Blackthorne Castle as a companion to Laura Blathorne. At the castle resides Lucian, a thirty some year old widow and has a missing child. He is known as a devil. He is scarred. When Isa comes to work, will sparks fly?
I really enjoyed the tellings from both point of views and with flashbacks. I liked the romance. There were times I felt a bit eh reading the book because there is sadism in it. It’s still good though.

Rhage is apart of the Black Dagger Brotherhood and is cursed with a beast side of him. He looks like a Hollywood star and usually has a female whenever he wants one. Mary is a mundane human trying to get through life and has once beat leukemia, which ends up coming back. John cannot speak and befriends Mary who knows ASL and when Bella, Mary’s friend Bella, who is a vampire notices John seems a bit different ends taking him to the Black Dagger Brothers. There Mary and Rhage meet. Will sparks fly? Can he save her?
I enjoyed this more than Dark Lover. I just loved the romance between Mary and Rhage. Each character was great. I wish we did get more of Bella, John, and Mr. X though. I cannot wait for the third book to read.

Mac is in Dublin still wanting to get revenge for her sisters death. She is trying to find a really old book, by using her senses. Will she be able to find it? Will the Fae go after her like they did with her sister?
I really enjoyed the action in this book. I really love Mac as a character as well as the other characters she encounters. I’m still waiting for the romance aspect to enter the story, but I’m thinking it’s going to be a slow burn one. I can’t wait for the next book.

My heart. I feel super satisfied by this novella and by the sneak peek for the book coming out next year. This book was really fluffy, but it was something I needed with the past few months of hardships I’ve had. My heart melted a lot and I had a lot of laugh out loud/snorting moments over certain scenes. I’m really going to miss the Feyre/Rhys narrative.

Everything That Burns (previously named Liberte) is the sequel to All That Glitters (previously named Enchantèe). It follows Camille a magician who once disguised herself with magic to gamble in Versailles. Now, she is a pamphleteer and is wanting to spread important information. She is swept up in France’s revolution. The King is saying everything wrong with France is the magicians, so magicians are being hunted and killed.
Everything That Burns is so very different from All That Glitters. Yes, there is magic, but Camille really only uses magic by accident at first on her pamphlets to make them more enticing. This book really loses all the magic that you felt reading All That Glitters. The tones are totally different and this feels like a total different book from the first book. I did enjoy the stories of The Lost Girls and the romance between Camille and Lazare.

A Princess who wants to claim her empire. A whore/assassin who hears a voice in her head who takes on a job to get a mans head. A captain who is exiled with his warriors who are to fight a war or die. These three will be fighting a war between two empires.
I really enjoyed the politics and action in this book. I loved Miko and Cassandra a lot. I was not a fan of reading Rah’s chapters. This book is marketed to be a fantasy book, but there is no magic, just empires. That’s okay though. I do wish we would know more about Dom and Cassandra and why they are the way they are. Hopefully book two clears things up.

Zsadist is the most terrifying brothers out of the Black Dagger Brotherhood since he is scarred, has black eyes, and just is plain scary. He’s has a dark past and was a blood slave a long time ago, which makes him not want certain things in life. This does not stop Bella from wanting him. However, this book picks up from Lover Eternal where Bella is kidnapped by a lesser and Zsadist and the brothers do whatever to find her and keep her safe. With both of them in the same mansion, will sparks fly and will Zsadist let Bella in?
This is my favorite book out of the series so far! It was so good! I loved the healing that Zsadist has to go through. I love the relationship between Zsadist and Bella. This book was heartbreaking as well since something bad happens to a character. Mr. O is just a psychopath and made a great villain. This was just great and I cannot wait to carry on more with this series.
