Another adorable addition to the saga of Mosscap and Dex! Alas, I listened to this while on an airplane and ferry boat and may have fallen asleep at parts, but what I was awake for and DO remember was once again stellar!

This book I did half ebook and half audio book (to finish the last few chapters as there was a hold on my ebook). I kinda wish I had done the whole thing as an audiobook! It has a full cast and they were pretty good at it.

Anyway, I'm a sucker for ghosts and haunted houses and especially ghost hunting books. This starts out ghost hunting but then becomes something that reminds me of a Michael Crichton book. No complaints from me, I love them both!

This book was pretty groovy so it gets 4 stars from me, dig?

A fun start to another great series by Mr. Stroud. I look forward to learning more about Albert and as well as Scarlett (especially with the small hints we get about her past) and watching their characters grow!

A great book for ages teen and up, especially reluctant readers. It's full of adventure and is a real page turner!

I don't' think I've read any of Lackey's books outside of the Valdemar series, but this book sounded good when someone posted about it in r/whatsthatbook.

This was cute. A very easy fantasy read that was humorous overall. I can't remember which other book it reminds me of (Dealing With Dragons? maybe?), but the element of Tradition was a convenient plot twist.

I had the hardback 1st edition from my library and noticed a lot of small typos and errors, BTW.

So far not my favorite T. Kingfisher book I've read, but that still means it gets 4/5 stars and was really, really good! I couldn't quite get into the audiobook's narrator for this one, but they sufficed and I still listened to it every chance I got! As always, the characters were the strongest and best part of the book. Not as humorous this time, maybe that's why it wasn't a favorite? Either way, a wonderfully dark, damp, gloomy book!

And this is the second retelling of "Fall of the House of Usher" I've read this year!
SpoilerAnd also probably the 7th or 8th horror book that centers around fungus...

I read this way too long after my last Murderbot book so I was really rusty on who was who... Still, it was an enjoyable short story from Mensah's POV.

What a fun book and an excellent audio book! When I take the time to dig out my earbuds and sit on the couch just to listen to an audiobook you know it's GOOD!
I loved the characters SO MUCH
SpoilerAlthough at the end there I just wanted to smack Beau for being a stupid dum dum and avoiding Clark up until the last minute and then strolling up to the honeycomb all cool and calm and I'm like "DAMMIT BEAU! YOU'RE PLAYING WITH YOURS AND CLARK'S ACTUAL EXISTENCE!"
and the narrator for this audiobook was perfect. I was CRACKING UP when he did his impression of the Youtuber Derek Dopamine.
So a very fun Groundhog's Day-esque (or I was also reminded of Levithan's "Every Day") that is very sweet and funny and also a page turner!

What a sweet book! All the Chosen-One fantasy adventure and found family and dragons you could ever want!

A graphic novel that aims to help anyone with body dysmorphia and/or eating disorders, or anyone who just doesn't have a good relationship with food or their body. While I'm glad my parents weren't ever body shaming or controlling in what I ate, I do have a friend who did have a Dad kind of like the one in this graphic novel and it breaks my heart. Parents, people, friends: be aware of what you say to your friends and loved ones because it's your words that can hurt the most!
Story: interesting take but not as in-depth as I thought it could go. 7/10
Art: cute, but I have a thing against people drawing characters with large thighs and butts, but tiny waists and then calling them "fat". Cowards! Show me stomachs that hang down and wobbly arms and dimple-y, cellulite legs! 7/10

Decided to give it a read because it was available on Libby and so I could be armed with knowledge if anyone tried to challenge it.
I ended up really loving this book and its bare authenticity as Maia illustrates eir journey to try and understand eir gender throughout eir life. Some of it even sounding familiar to me!
Definitely recommended for older teens and college students at youngest trying to understand their place in the queer world and maybe Maia's experiences will help questioning readers understand themselves a little bit better!
And to anyone who tries to ban this book: fuck you.
