Decided to give it a read because it was available on Libby and so I could be armed with knowledge if anyone tried to challenge it.
I ended up really loving this book and its bare authenticity as Maia illustrates eir journey to try and understand eir gender throughout eir life. Some of it even sounding familiar to me!
Definitely recommended for older teens and college students at youngest trying to understand their place in the queer world and maybe Maia's experiences will help questioning readers understand themselves a little bit better!
And to anyone who tries to ban this book: fuck you.
