I enjoyed reading this book. Indeed, it is Gossip Girl in a future/scifi world. And this cover is so gorgeous..

I really like the different POV's and how they slowly all come together, even it is with so much drama. It gives more depth to a book, even if it is so much drama! I like this way better than a single POV, like in the Shatter me series or in DIMILY.

I also like how the future thing is done in this book. Not to much description, but I do get a futuristic image in my head, for example when someone at a party put a glass on a hovercoaster. Very well done.

The ending.. well..
SpoilerWhen you read the prologue, you instantly wanna know who falls and how, under what circumstances. But, very soon, I thought about Avery and how she is written to hate, so she probably won't be it. Eris is someone who is written to be very likeable, so that will be a interesting choice for the feelings of the readers.. and I was right. And I don't like to be right, I want to be surprised.

I do want to read the next book because i'm very curious about how the story will develop!

This is such a touching story! I highly recommend this to lovers of diverse books like [b:Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda|19547856|Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda|Becky Albertalli|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1402915678s/19547856.jpg|27679579].

George is a girl on the inside, and in this book her struggle with how the world sees her is shown in such a spot-on and touching way, it is incredible. I cried, so beautiful.

It is aimed at a younger audience, but just like [b:Furthermore|28110143|Furthermore|Tahereh Mafi|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1454343290s/28110143.jpg|42362451], that does not affect the reading experience for older readers. It does makes it a quick read :)

I've read this in a couple of hours. I almost completely finished this yesterday, but it was bedtime so I finished this morning :)

This is a really special and unique book, but it was not my cup of tea. My low rating does not mean this is not a good book, just that I did not enjoy reading it. But you might!

This book has something dark and mystic. The writing style makes me think of [b:I'll Give You the Sun|20820994|I'll Give You the Sun|Jandy Nelson|https://d2arxad8u2l0g7.cloudfront.net/books/1458679315s/20820994.jpg|11409817], and the book gets a bit spooky in a Pretty Little Liars tv-show kind of way.

My problem with this book is that I did not connect with the characters at all. They are way too flat, too one-dimensional for me to get involved with this book.

I feel really bummed that I dislike this book, it sounded really promising and like a book I could really love.. But I really love the cover and I think the story is very unique so 1* did not felt completely appropriate.

What a lovely book. I was curious as soon as I started reading what the secret will be, because of the title. It took a part of the book to get to know the secret, and that gave it a nice suspence. And then you know the secret and OMG, how to handle such a thing..

At first, I didn't liked the different point of views. But the lines started to come together nicely, and I started to like it. Because you get a look inside someone's head, you discover how they think of themselves and of the people around them. Then, you get a look inside such a somebody else, and you see what is behind the mask, and how they see the other person. This makes it clear that how we see ourselves can differ from the person someone else sees. I liked that part a lot.

And then, the ending. I love the message in that part. Don't get stuck in 'what if..', because you will never truely know. Never.

What a lovely summerread! I really enjoyed the first book, it was the perfect book for this season. The second book has a severe case of second book syndrome, I really had to drag myself through it.. But the third book was really summerish again and I'd really enjoyed that one!

I am #TeamJeremiah from the first page until the very last.
SpoilerIn the third book, I really did not knew what she was gonna do. Say yes with strong intentions, or say no because of Con. I was not expecting no because she wasn't 200% sure. I liked that a lot. The book could have ended at that point for me and I would be HIGHLY satisfied. But it didn't and I was a bit meh because of that. But I still loved how this book got hold of me the last 50-ish pages!

This is one of the best contemporary books I've read.

What I don't like about it: I'm lactose intollerant and will never be able to taste gelato.

What I love about it: everything else.

This is a fluffy book, but with a heavy subject. And it is done wonderfully.

Also, I love that this book is about love, but like real love not I-like-you-love. This book shows us some relationshipgoals (in feels, not in handling things :P).

And there are so many funny sentences! How she can be a representative for Kleenex, how she made it down the stairs without any involuntary gymnastics.. That last one made me snort with laughter for real haha!

So, I highly recommend this book if you like fluffy reads. As you may have guessed :)

I really enjoyed reading this book! In this SciFi YA, the SciFi really plays a big part in the storyline. This is how I like it, not like [b:Eenzaam en Extreem Ver Weg|30422576|Eenzaam en Extreem Ver Weg|Kate Ling|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1465483997s/30422576.jpg|45748456], which is basically a love story just set in a space station. Phobos has a much better plot line.

It really is possible that we pay for a travel to mars by making it commercial. And about a president that has sold everything the governments own.. well, I'm not going to state something about possible American presidents.

The story line reminds a bit of [b:The Selection|10507293|The Selection (The Selection, #1)|Kiera Cass|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1322103400s/10507293.jpg|15413183], so if you've enjoyed that series and you like SciFi, I recommend this book!

But if you've read this, you might wonder why I've only rated it 3*. While I was reading, it felt like a 4* fun book. Not amazingly, but better than average. But a lot of things in the writing style feels a bit cheap. like how the bad boys are talking to each other in detail about the plans everybody already knows, this is purely to inform the reader. And I know there is a sequel coming, but that does not mean you can leave the ending open like THAT. It does however makes me want to read the second book right now.

This book is formidable. This is how YA contemporary is suppose to be.

It reminded me a bit of [b:Love & Gelato|25756328|Love & Gelato|Jenna Evans Welch|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1452081385s/25756328.jpg|45600264], so if you've read that and not this (or the other way around), I highly recommend it! If you haven't read any of those, go and read them :)

This book (and Love&Gelato) are about a girl that has lost her mother to cancer, but despite that the book is very upbeat and happy and makes you warm inside. Sometime, the rough edges of loss turn up in the story, just like they would in real life. It makes lovely quotes, really touching.

I love how realistic this is, and how it showes you that even though something big and horrible like your mom dying happens, life can be quite.. normal. Hard, but normal. There is still school and friends and boys.

This book is just fenominal.

It has a secret letterwriting. This is done more often, but even in the last chapter I was not sure who it was! That is quite well done. Just like [b:Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda|19547856|Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda|Becky Albertalli|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1402915678s/19547856.jpg|27679579], and not like [b:P.S. I Like You|25486998|P.S. I Like You|Kasie West|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1442247987s/25486998.jpg|45261093]. Great job!

PS This is my 100th fictionbook of this year whoohoo

This book as good and amazing as [b:The Husband's Secret|17802724|The Husband's Secret|Liane Moriarty|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1460577225s/17802724.jpg|23986788]! I was addicted to this. It is a really nice combination of a womans contemporary, thriller and a bit chicklitdrama, but my gosh it is amazingly well written and plotted.

This book is surprisingly (and) awful.

I've read this book on recommendation of Evelyn. usually, she is like my booksister, we share almost all our bookopinions. Almost, we have found another one we disagree on.

I admit, this book surprised me. Twice. Those twists are perfectly: I did not saw them coming and they make so much sense! I love when something like that happens. But, the rest of the story, it was awful. Not in writing of quality or anything like that, don't get me wrong, but it just did not clicked for me.

I plowed through this book, in a buddyread with Zwaantina, waiting for the part Evelyn loved so much. We were in 70% and we were like oh hmm.. but so much invested time, let just finish this :P

But no, not my book. And I expected to like this, so that was a bit of a bummer.
