Wink Poppy en Midnight by April Genevieve Tucholke

I've read this in a couple of hours. I almost completely finished this yesterday, but it was bedtime so I finished this morning :)

This is a really special and unique book, but it was not my cup of tea. My low rating does not mean this is not a good book, just that I did not enjoy reading it. But you might!

This book has something dark and mystic. The writing style makes me think of [b:I'll Give You the Sun|20820994|I'll Give You the Sun|Jandy Nelson|https://d2arxad8u2l0g7.cloudfront.net/books/1458679315s/20820994.jpg|11409817], and the book gets a bit spooky in a Pretty Little Liars tv-show kind of way.

My problem with this book is that I did not connect with the characters at all. They are way too flat, too one-dimensional for me to get involved with this book.

I feel really bummed that I dislike this book, it sounded really promising and like a book I could really love.. But I really love the cover and I think the story is very unique so 1* did not felt completely appropriate.
