This is such a touching story! I highly recommend this to lovers of diverse books like [b:Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda|19547856|Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda|Becky Albertalli|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1402915678s/19547856.jpg|27679579].
George is a girl on the inside, and in this book her struggle with how the world sees her is shown in such a spot-on and touching way, it is incredible. I cried, so beautiful.
It is aimed at a younger audience, but just like [b:Furthermore|28110143|Furthermore|Tahereh Mafi|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1454343290s/28110143.jpg|42362451], that does not affect the reading experience for older readers. It does makes it a quick read :)
