The Husband's Secret
by Liane Moriarty
What a lovely book. I was curious as soon as I started reading what the secret will be, because of the title. It took a part of the book to get to know the secret, and that gave it a nice suspence. And then you know the secret and OMG, how to handle such a thing..
At first, I didn't liked the different point of views. But the lines started to come together nicely, and I started to like it. Because you get a look inside someone's head, you discover how they think of themselves and of the people around them. Then, you get a look inside such a somebody else, and you see what is behind the mask, and how they see the other person. This makes it clear that how we see ourselves can differ from the person someone else sees. I liked that part a lot.
And then, the ending. I love the message in that part. Don't get stuck in 'what if..', because you will never truely know. Never.
