This book is surprisingly (and) awful.

I've read this book on recommendation of Evelyn. usually, she is like my booksister, we share almost all our bookopinions. Almost, we have found another one we disagree on.

I admit, this book surprised me. Twice. Those twists are perfectly: I did not saw them coming and they make so much sense! I love when something like that happens. But, the rest of the story, it was awful. Not in writing of quality or anything like that, don't get me wrong, but it just did not clicked for me.

I plowed through this book, in a buddyread with Zwaantina, waiting for the part Evelyn loved so much. We were in 70% and we were like oh hmm.. but so much invested time, let just finish this :P

But no, not my book. And I expected to like this, so that was a bit of a bummer.

Voor de Nederlandse mensen:
Dit was de eerste keer dat ik een Dwarsligger las. Ik moest heel erg wennen aan het formaat, maar toen ik er eenmaal aan gewend was vond ik het superfijn! Het is ideaal om een boek mee te nemen want het weegt heel weinig. Je bladert makkelijk met 1 hand (na wat oefenen), dus ook handig om te lezen tijdens het eten (omhooghouden en bladeren met rechts, ontbijt naar binnen werken met links), of als je op je rug op het strand ligt (om in het meenemen te blijven).

Als je nog nooit een dwarsligger hebt geprobeerd, raad ik het je zeker aan. Veel bibliotheken hebben ze ook in het assortiment trouwens ;)
