Beautiful, steamy and sweet. 🔥🥵🥰

The FMC has a traumatic past relationship, has anxiety and has trouble opening opening her heart to others.💔 But our 3 MMCs gently coax her out of her shell. They're supportive, strong and emotionally mature. I love it. 💗 You know what I love even more? When the boyfriends are boyfriends. And the boyfriends are boyfriends!!! 😭 

Will definitely check out the other books sometime in the future. Overall, there's a lot of smut 🥵 but there's also vulnerability and sweet moments that make me kick my feet giggling 💗 Was this peak literature? Of course not. But if anyone wants a spicy and fluffy read, this is for you. 🤭

This started out pretty shaky. I think it took a while for me to get my footing in the world and understand what was going on. 

The relationship between the 2 main characters was so awkward in the beginning and I was cringing from second hand embarrassment. Luckily, it slowly got better and the smut was well written though it was... a lot (and I don't mean the amount). 

The 3rd act breakup was so frustrating because it felt a bit contrived. And that ex needs to be executed, what he did was literally treason. 

Even though there's a 2nd book, this ended on a good and happy note. Will I pick up the next book? I don't think so. But overall, this was still a nice read.

There was no question, no doubt. This is a 5⭐ read, hands down. I never thought I could be so invested in a story so quickly. I never thought I could feel so much from a book that wasn't even 100 pages long. I never thought I could feel so empty after such a short read. But here we are... 🥺😢😭

By page 20, I was already so deeply rooted in the characters and their story.💗 While this was fast paced, it definitely wasn't rushed. The pacing was so good that I barely noticed it was a short book until we got to the end and I'm like, "NO, WAIT, I WANT MORE!" 

I am IN LOVE with Seth. His humour was impeccable and right up my alley. I am DEVASTATED that he's not real 😭 I also love Charlotte. She was so relatable and endearing, and I want to protect her.💗 I howled together with Charlotte at "Pecker and Pecker" 😭😂 Gabe and Izzy were awesome and so cute together, I want them to be my BFFs. The old ladies from the retirement home were freaking GOLD. I loved them so so much, bless their hearts! ❤️

The resolution to the issue was resolved in a pretty satisfying way, though I wished it was a bit longer and more descriptive so I could revel in gratification that the creep was gone.😈💪🏻

This book actually managed to touch on some pretty deep topics. Did it dig all the way in? Of course not, this is a novella. But it touched on enough that it made me pause. It made me think. It made me feel.🥹 I've never laughed so much in a romance novella before. While I did wish there was more, upon reflecting, I think this was just the right amount for this story.

This is actually my very first Abby Jimenez book and what a beautiful introduction to her work. I am so excited to read her other books because if this is the quality of her writing, I'm in for an amazing ride 💗❤️🩷

I had high hopes for this but unfortunately, it fell very very short.

While the romance was sweet, I just found it hard to be invested in the characters and plot because the writing was clunky and twisty (not in a good way). 

Even though it was only 99 pages, it felt SO dry and daggy. Normally I go through novellas so quickly but this made me want to DNF at 50%. I stuck it through but it wasn't worth it. 

Sadly, this was a miss for me. I probably won't even remember what this was about tomorrow.

Can I just say... Jessa Kane's writing style... is SO right up my alley?! 🤯 This is the first book I've picked up from her and I am IN LOVE. 😍

The way the smut was written and the way the characters and their relationships are set up... *chef's kiss 💋*

Despite how short the novella is, it had everything I could want in it ❤️ Absolutely beautiful. 

Don't mind me while I go check out like 12 more books from Jessa Kane 🫣 for research purposes and sample sizes, of course. 

This was actually a really nice read. Was this impeccably well-written? No. But it was sweet, nicely-paced and had the right amount of spice! 

I really enjoyed the way the relationship developed and how the reveal unravelled. Wes' reaction was totally valid, though I did find it weird how protective Wes was, going all "my baby girl", "my mafia princess", considering he was absent through most of her life. 

Wish there were more interactions between Wes and Sev to show that they're best friends. We only know that because Sev says so. No other indication that they're even on friendly terms. 

A simple, fast, cute and spicy read to pass my morning. 

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Why did it end like that?! I am GNAWING on the bars of my cage for more!!! 😫😭

This book was so HOT 🔥🥵 so spicy! The tension, the magnetic attraction, the sizzling chemistry 🔥🔥🔥 Incredible novella, it set up the scene, relationships and stakes so well. Picking up the next two books like NOW 🤩

This was my first book from Willow Winters. And it wasn't a great introduction, perhaps I should have picked up one of her full-fledged books instead.

Now, I'm no stranger to novellas. I've read my fair share of novellas and when done well, it can be a great short read. This, however, was very poorly executed. Everything, from the plot to the characters to the friendship to the romance, felt disconnected, disjointed and contrived. It felt like an incredibly jerky ride on a highway traffic jam. 

I may pick up another book from this author in the near future and I truly hope this book is not an accurate reflection of her writing and the next one will be better. Cheers.

Way too angsty and the amount of miscommunication and non-communication was INFURIATING.
