I had high hopes for this but unfortunately, it fell very very short.

While the romance was sweet, I just found it hard to be invested in the characters and plot because the writing was clunky and twisty (not in a good way). 

Even though it was only 99 pages, it felt SO dry and daggy. Normally I go through novellas so quickly but this made me want to DNF at 50%. I stuck it through but it wasn't worth it. 

Sadly, this was a miss for me. I probably won't even remember what this was about tomorrow.
