This started out pretty shaky. I think it took a while for me to get my footing in the world and understand what was going on. 

The relationship between the 2 main characters was so awkward in the beginning and I was cringing from second hand embarrassment. Luckily, it slowly got better and the smut was well written though it was... a lot (and I don't mean the amount). 

The 3rd act breakup was so frustrating because it felt a bit contrived. And that ex needs to be executed, what he did was literally treason. 

Even though there's a 2nd book, this ended on a good and happy note. Will I pick up the next book? I don't think so. But overall, this was still a nice read.
