Sigh. The angst is insane. Can these people communicate, for fuck's sake? You have mouths, open them and TALK!
I'm mad at how it ended and how it turned out. I understand the guys did what was necessary but I'm still mad 😤

Had an absolute blast reading this! I couldn't stop smiling and laughing my way through and I had to stop here and there to catch my breath. 🤣
Absolutely loved the FMC - she was totally unhinged and crazy in her own way 🥰, has a really weird sense of logic that makes all the mafia men pause 👀 and wonder if she's sane, and her mouth runs faster than a bullet train! Girlie is a certified YAPPER, which tbh I relate, I can't stop talking either 😭🤣
And it makes me all UWU when the MMC just looks at her being mentally unbalanced and thinks she's so cute and endearing 🥹 He really said she's crazy but she's my type of crazy 🤣
Do expect:
💕 Cute dog shenanigans
💕 Baking shenanigans
💕 Kidnappings and hostages shenanigans
💕 Green flag mafia MMC
💕 Unhinged comedy
The spice was pretty tame actually! The kisses were descriptive and there were some heavy petting but the actual seggs scenes were very glossed over and faded to black. So if you're not a spicy reader, this should be great for you too! I'd give it like a 1.5/2🌶️ out of 5🌶️.
Overall, I am in love with this book and if you ever thought that you needed a green flag mafia romance, this is it! 💚💚💚

The way this girl gradually domesticated all these big bad scary mafia men with her slobbery big dog, cupcakes and unhinged yapping 😭
When she got kidnapped by men who ACTUALLY want to kill her, she starts promoting MMC's stand mixer and they look at each other and realise she's crazy.🤣 The enemies are so convinced she's nuts, they're second guessing if they kidnapped the right girl cos there is no way would the rival scary mafia man would be with this nutcase.😭🤣
The dog chewed through EVERY single shoe the MMC had in his closet so he had no choice but to wear his underling's too-small shoes which cramped his feet but he wasn't even a bit mad 😍
Fuck, when they did a whole damn funeral for FMC's plant, I lost it. They really did a whole ass ceremony with speeches and songs for a plant that the MMC suspected has been dead this whole time, I can't. 😭
Docked half a star because the dad part of the plot was INCREDIBLY vague and anticlimactic. To be completely honest, I wasn't even sure what happened between them or how it was resolved slash not resolved.🤔 Like I'm still confused as to what happened there.🤨

I had high hopes for this one and was unfortunately a bit let down. The first half of the book was rather boring and unengaging. I found it dragging and almost DNF-ed it. But I was curious to see the ending so I pressed on.
Luckily it picked up in the second half but most of the excitement was in the last 50 pages. The ending was rather lackluster but I did enjoy the flourish of magic in the finale moments.

This was such a sweet and spicy read, I enjoyed every single second of it.🔥❤️🩷
If you came in expecting balls to the walls smut, you will get that, yes.🥵 BUT. BUT. But you will also get fluff, tender and vulnerable moments between the characters.🥹 What I loved so so much about this was how much the 2 male characters bonded and fell in love with each other. It wasn't just about sharing and loving one woman. It was all 3 of them loving, caring and sharing each other.🥺
While the spice was definitely spicing, the sweet was definitely sweeting. My heart is full and my thirst is quenched. I loved how it wrapped up, how the relationship came to fruition and how they all learned to love each other so completely.🥰 Every RH why-choose author should have this book and these characters' love as their standard guide for how to write a loving green flag RH why-choose relationship.💚 Well done!❤️❤️❤️

Gosh, where do I even begin...🥲 I came in wanting to love this. I saw every booktoker out there absolutely hyping this up and I really wanted to love this. But boy, did it work for my love.
It started out quite interesting and then for the first half of the book, we get... nothing. And I mean absolutely nothing but CRUMBS.🤯 Which made reading this painfully frustrating. I was SUFFERING for a whole 60% of the book, ready to scream for it to give me SOMETHING.😭 When they said "slow-burn", they meant painfully sluggishly slow. I nearly, so very nearly, DNFed it at 55%.🙏🏻 If it wasn't for my book club, I would have dropped it. But I didn't. I pressed through.💪🏻
Thankfully, it really started to pick up around the 65% mark, the story became more engaging, the characters had more depth and the world came to life.🥹 As the conflict came to a peak, everything was so chaotic and I could hardly catch my breath as the action packed on. Once it dwindled, we were left on a cliffhanger, which I had already suspected we would be, considering the pace and anticipated 2nd book.
Now, I am torn on whether I hate this book or if I actually like it. Lowkey feeling like I should channel Odessa and say I hate it when I actually don't.😂 But I can't find it in my heart to give it 4 stars after it stressed me out so much in the first 60% - this bish holds a grudge.😘 But now I'm hooked, I'm invested, I'm sat.
To the lovely author, I beg of you, please don't make me endure the same torment in the next book, I won't do it 😭🤣💔 (also I lowkey love-hate you now, thank you bye)

I was getting excited for the wedding and for the romance to build up but nope. Should have saw this coming. Unfortunately they're back to Zaidera and I'm sighing cos everytime they're in Zaidera, everything is slow and uninteresting. This book was originally released in 2023 (translated in 2024) and it's now 2025 so hopefully vol 10 is released soon. And can we please get more progress on the romance and wedding 😭 Previously in the author's note, she was so apologetic to Albert's character cos of the lack of romance and she said something about wanting to focus more on the romance but that has yet to happen.

Rejoice! For I have finally managed to crack the case before the truth was revealed!!! 💡 It's like a game to me at this point whenever I pick up a Freida McFadden book, to try and guess who the culprit is. So far, it always comes out of left field so I am absolutely ecstatic I saw this one coming. 🤩 To be fair, I think lots of people did but hey, a win is a win. 🎊
I think out of all the Freida McFadden books I've read, this was probably the most fun I had. While the writing lacked the normal depth I'm used to in her books, the humour and the amount of chaos and craziness made up for it. I was having a blast watching Blake go nuts.🤭 It was so much fun watching how everything had been plotted, planned and executed.
However, I think the book could have wrapped up nicely without the extra mini plot twist at the end. It felt contrived, unnecessary and personally, it took away from the story we already had. 🥲 So that lowered my rating slightly.
Overall, it was still a very fun read 🩷

A confession AND a proposal FINALLY!!! No kiss scene ofc and wished the romance was more. It felt downplayed.
