Omg I absolutely love this concept and it feels like I am watching a movie. The voice acting is phenomenal and I was totally expecting another zombie apocalypse plot but no… VAMPIRES! I love the MC and how strong she is and I can’t wait for more.

I also love that her little sister Hope is not like her and makes mistakes that she learns from. Felix is also great, I feel like most MCs that are girls end up with stronger men but I enjoy the fact that she protects him instead. I am so sad about whisper I really liked her as a character.

I went on to the next one right away!

This was crazy all the way through but very enjoyable and messed up. I liked the way Darcie’s childhood story was told and also how the characters were voiced. I am normally not a fan of men voicing women but I think this narrator did a great job!

Love a thriller with a happy ending too, super rare in the genre.

This book was so good! I definitely enjoyed the action and trials more in the first book but I loved the character development and growth in this book more.

Xio finding themself and getting close to everyone again was perfect I am so glad they got a good ending. I am also so happy that Teo and Aurelio got together and get to be happy! Lastly I really enjoyed Niya’s character and the talks her and Teo had about what was happening and what Xio did.

. Truly a perfect finish to this duology.

Everyone is right this is percy jackson meets hunger games but it also doesn’t feel copied, it has a unique concept to it! I really loved the representation in this book and diversity among the characters. I also loved how the characters were written as actual teenagers and weren’t overly childish or overly mature. I originally thought the concept of the trials would be like the hunger games but I liked that there were many different trials and they weren’t all battle focused.

I hope Xio comes around in the next book or he gets a redemption ark because all the moments between him and Teo did not seem fake or forced. He seems like a misguided kid who didn’t want to feel like an outcast anymore. I am also looking forward to more development between Teo and Aurelio! They are so cute and I can’t wait to see where their adventure to save the world takes them.

I love a headstrong main character that messes up sometimes but for all the right reasons! Teo is great and I can’t wait to see his growth.

This version of 1984 is probably my favorite yet. The voice acting was incredible and I loved the music and sound effects too. I think the story is very fast paced and to the point. The only aspects I didn’t love were the sexual scenes. I think the acting during the torture chapters were very well done too. I remember still enjoying 1984 when I read it but listening to it like this was a much more fun experience!

I really enjoyed this book and that it felt different from normal romance books. I liked the focus on cultural aspects and problems in the family dynamic. I also liked that the problematic behavior of Ash’s family wasn’t just overlooked and

that her brother is working on being better

. The ending was sweet and felt like a perfect finish.

I may have a hard time rating this series because i listened to the unabridged version so I am going to write the main overall review here. I’ll rate the books individually by star rating tho. I think that I would’ve loved this book more if I was younger but it had the right amount of whimsy and mystery to keep me reading. I will say I like how fast the author aged the characters, I feel like it’s rare to see characters start as a child and age up to an adult in a series this short. Rose annoyed me a bit at first but she started to grow on me and the same can be said for Neeve. It took awhile until I started liking them to be honest. This series is very easy to get through and there’s a satisfying end!

I don’t like dnfing books so i had to finish this to know the ending… which there wasn’t one really cause it continues into the next book and i am not going to read it. I thought i could enjoy it but the cliches were strong and the writing was giving bad wattpad fanfiction. So many lines made me laugh and say ew out loud. I think if they made Henry more kind and Abbi less naive it would’ve been better cause this relationship is NOT healthy.
