This book was so good! I definitely enjoyed the action and trials more in the first book but I loved the character development and growth in this book more. Xio finding themself and getting close to everyone again was perfect I am so glad they got a good ending. I am also so happy that Teo and Aurelio got together and get to be happy! Lastly I really enjoyed Niya’s character and the talks her and Teo had about what was happening and what Xio did. . Truly a perfect finish to this duology.
