I can't even describe how perfect this book is! I laughed. I cried. I laughed while I was crying. I was pretty much hysterical through the entire thing, on the edge of my seat, wringing my hands with anxious suspense, hoping and praying that each of my beloved heroes would survive happily to the end.

There were a few times when I brandished my fist at the skies, yelling, "Riordan, you jerk!" but I forgave him by the next page. Brilliant writing! How does he do it?!? Perfectly paced plot, delightful villains and heroes, snappy dialogue, and heart-warming as well as heart-wrenching moments. I devoured this book and enjoyed every delicious page.

Leo... just LEO, you magnificent insane darling of a genius.
Percy, I could kiss your face all over, if I didn't think Annabeth would carve me into mincemeat.
Piper and Jason, you two are perfect in every way. I adore you both. You deserve each other.
Nico... I can't even put my emotions together again. I want to hug you forever, and tell you everything is alright.
Frank, you cutie pie. I wanna high-five you and share a burger. Best Friend Ever.
Hazel, Reyna, Coach Hedge, Grover Underwood, everyone, and even Clarissa, I love you all so much!
I can't believe our adventures together are over. You have comforted and inspired me. Thank you for your beauty.

This last book in the "Wolves of Willoughby Chase" series doesn't seem to shine like the other books. The plot feels more contrived than usual, and the pacing is not quite up to Aiken's usual writing. As a book on its own, this one is not that great. As part of a series, the book is elevated, since we are revisiting favorite characters and scenes. The series as a whole are wonderful books, engaging and brilliantly written, full of humor and adventure! So don't let this one last book put you off reading the others!

It was wonderful to see Nita's younger sister, Dairine, taking the lead role in this book. I was especially touched by her philosophy that knowing and learning things will keep you safe from the dangers in the world. Dairine is a delightful character, full of both weakness and strength. The interactions between Dairine and her computerized Manual made me laugh sometimes!

I loved the world-building of this book, so different from the previous books, and the way that it is carefully introduced bit by bit really pulls the plot together too.

It's amazing how this author deals with such deep themes: the meaning of breathing Life, the passage of time, the nature of evil, the complexities of creation and the naming of living entities. And all beautifully woven with a great plot and character development and interaction. Just brilliant writing!

This book was not at all what I expected, but I really enjoyed it! I love the author's writing style- concise and careful in it's construction. Each vivid word placed in the sentence just so, in order to paint the picture. Sometimes it feels like you are reading poetry, even though it's prose.

The overall mood of this book is gloomy and mystical with a sense of urgency. I can see why it is compared to LotR, although the plot and characters are nothing like LotR. I would compare it more to Wrinkle in Time, especially with the similar themes of mind-control, searching for what is lost, finding one's identity, and a friendship being cemented in the midst of conflict.

I had no idea this book would be so violent! Only 20 pages in, four people die in a fire, an innocent man is gunned down in the street, a cop is killed in a shoot out, and a 10 year old girl is kidnapped. Very scary for a children's book, but that's the worst of it. There is much less violence in the rest of the book. The plot is certainly thrilling!

I thought some of the friendships that Ellen develops felt a little forced and trite. She just suddenly meets some random stranger and they stop their whole lives to help her on her journey. What a coincidence! haha.
But overall, I loved it! I wish this author had written more books.

I adore this entire trilogy! It brought me spiritual renewal and my heart was refreshed! In my mind, these Christian fantasy books are right up there with Lord of the Rings and Narnia.

In this last book, we see Robby's character making the tough decisions. He's such a conflicted complex person, and his struggle to find the truth and choose the good is passionately written.
The whole story is epic adventure in a grand tradition with courage, faith, and sacrifice. It gets really intense and keeps the reader fully engaged. I cried a few times, either from joy or sadness! The writing is just so powerful!

I really liked the inclusion of the "Lost Chapters", where the author shows a few deleted scenes that didn't make it into the original publication. So interesting to have that backstory.

A great sequel to the first book! Plenty of action and mysterious legend, and a whole new plot.
There are a lot more dragons in this book, and they play a bigger role in the story, which I loved.

I was glad to revisit old scenes and characters, but I also loved the new characters, especially Antoinette. I loved her independence and courage. I was especially impressed with her unfailing hope. Even when she makes mistakes, she hopes that it will get better, she believes that things will work out. She trusts in people, no matter what. She's a heroine that exceeds expectations!

The Wyrm Lord is an especially frightening villain, partly because he is so alien and mysterious. There is no way to predict the actions of a creature like that.
Seeing Antoinette's attempts to reach Robby's Glimpse was both exhilarating and heartbreaking, especially as it mirrors a Christian's attempts to witness to a loved one or friend.

Collection of short stories all including dragons. I love dragon lore! Each story has a different set of characteristics, personalities, looks, sizes, myths, and rules that describe the dragon or dragons. Wonderful writing! I adore this author! Each story is a perfect delight!

Wow. Just....wow. So incredible! I found it impossible to put this book down, and I read it all in one sitting. The plot is so perfectly woven, and all those little mysteries come together so deliciously.

I adore every single character! I loved meeting our old friend J.J. grown up with a family of his own, the destructive and adorable two-year-old Aidan, the mysterious Jenny, the chilling puka, good old Mikey, and the dependable Donal. I usually don't like books with too many POVs, but the different perspectives are handled flawlessly in the writing, and I never even noticed the changes because I was so wrapped up in the story.

The writing is nothing short of spectacular! Every word is so flavorful, and I found myself whispering the words aloud as I read. The gorgeous Irish setting and background of fairy legends is so strong that it's practically its own character. I felt immersed in this enchanting world of fairies, ghosts, and changelings who hobnob with poor human folk.
I can't wait to read more from this author!
