I’m confused. The tale was good; I knew absolutely nothing about the actual legends of Eros or Psyche. The entire story was new to me, and I quite enjoyed it. But I “read” it in the audiobook format. I’ve done audiobooks before but those were mostly self-help and felt more like podcasts than a story. I really should not have tried this format, I think. It really reduced the fun for me. I’m sure the narration was great; but listening to stories in audio format may not be for me. 

A beautiful story, a real tear-jerker though. I felt so deeply for the little White Fang, in spite of all the ferociousness, he was such a loving wolf-dog deep inside. I’m so glad he finally found his love-family. 

There is very little of Madame Chic in this book. It is mostly about Jennifer’s own plan for an organised and happy home. I found the tips very useful and told in an engaging manner. The music suggestions are a lovely touch and I was greatly inspired by it. It is a book that I must re-read frequently to remind myself of the better ways to live life. 

It was a fun, read with lots and lots of bookish talk. The mystery was good, but the book festival plans were better and the romance was the best. Some parts of it felt needlessly forced, but I like the story enough to overlook it. I might continue the series too. 

A great finale to the Mistborn Era 1 series. Reading this huge tome was definitely worth it. I must admit that I was surprised by the “God” elements in the story. I’m eager to continue reading the Cosmere series. 

Absolutely hate this style of writing. There is a bit of humorous banter, that I enjoyed. The twist, when it came, was a shock. But I cannot, in all honesty, say that I enjoyed this book. It was a bit maddening - along the lines of the magical realism / lyrical / fantastical writing. I’m surprised that this book is so hyped. Clearly not my style. 

A wonderful insight into of one of the most enigmatic personalities of our times. I’ve been quite interested in the Royal Family and Lady Colin Campbell appears to have great inside information. It is also interesting to read how many of Diana’s unsettling behaviours and attitudes have been copied by Meghan Markle. However, Lady Colin Campbell is firm in her belief that deep within, Diana was a fallible human thrust into a difficult position far too young, and that age brought with it wisdom, understanding, compassion and strength to her. What might have been - if she had lived. 

The second book is even more interesting than the first one. The progress of Vin is tremendous and I feel quite invested in her now. Totally glad I started to read this series. 

It was a nice, fun mystery. I really should have read it in one sitting; it is that kind of book. I might look into the remaining books in the series. It was fun enough. 

It was good. I really enjoyed this book and finished it one sitting. A fast-paced thriller.
