This was a good read. The writing is beautiful. The similes and metaphors are vivid and really add to the book.
I loved how EVERY character was developed and had a whole personality .
This book really had me in my feels. I really hated how every single character was treated, but that’s life. It really helped build the story and explain why each character felt the things they did
I loved this line. No spoiler, just some imagery.

An interesting read from multiple point of views and interspersed with text messages, social media posts, and news.
This book was written by 7 authors but it feels so cohesive that I never would’ve guessed that

I should have kept track of how many times this book made me cry. There were 100 pages or so that skillfully brought out the tears. This book has layers. Aside from the main story line, we also get to see Moss deal with his own mental health, friendships, and a potential boyfriend.

I love how their were letters interspersed with the chapters. I feel like they added a lot of depth.
What a great read. It definitely made me mad at points. Mad that Danny wouldn’t say what was on his mind and just as mad that he did bad things. But, it’s realistic, so I appreciate it.
As far as a lgbtqia+ book, I was left wanting more. Though, again, this was a rather realistic representation. I appreciate that Danna had a story and that his dealing with queerness was just another layer and not the main focus.
I will say, the end really threw me off. I didn’t expect it, though I guess I should have

I’m quite glad the exciting times are over as they weren’t so exciting. My review is kinda mixed. The plot is slow. Maybe I’m just not a fan of the love triangle plot. This is the first one I’ve read and I probably won’t read another.
For me, there are a few too many words I don’t know. I really enjoy learning new words, but I don’t wanna have to look up 2-3 words every other sentence.
The writing is good. I think I might have had an exciting time without the love triangle and with a half as many words to look up.
I’m unsure how well the culture was portrayed with the TEFL kids learning English and having English first names. Whether it’s fiction or real, I really hate this concept. People shouldn’t have to change and conform to the way of the British just because they colonized the whole world.

I loved how well the queer community was represented in the ace, gay, bi, and questioning characters. I also loved how Simone was full of emotions and handled everything so realistically. Fantastic representation all around.
Reading this book made me realize how lacking our health classes are. The book sparked some good conversation in my home.

There is a list of content warnings for each story at the beginning of the book
I felt Cinder by @JenLRossman was the cutest best story in the book. I loved the representation and the goofy alignment with the real world.
This book includes short stories and poems while spanning everything from clones, sci-fi, werewolves, genders assigned by scents, witches, and so much more.
Most of these were not my preferred genre, but they were all written well

This book was a weird one to read. The whole first half of the book is just character building and no plot. I did not enjoy it until over halfway through the book. And even then, it wasn’t super exciting.
I feel like the woman in the story only exists to make the man have feels. It’s weird how the main character feels like a side character.
This author writes with so so so many metaphors. It’s like he just learned what a metaphor is and wanted to use them to practice. I feel like I almost forget what I was reading by time I get done reading the metaphor.
Also, the sex/turned on scenes felt so weird and out of place. So weird. They would pop up without warning.
Then at the very end of the book, the plot is resolved with almost no rhyme nor reason. I still have no clue what happened.

- In many parts, I felt like there were a lot of words to say basically nothing and others felt rushed

Worth noting, knowing some Spanish will make this read a bit easier. Otherwise you may wanna keep a device nearby to look up some words.
The story spans over 2 or 3 days and damn a lot happens. Lots of expected parts and some unexpected parts.

I read this based on a recommendation for a book with ace representation
The asexual representation is great. The representation of women in tech is also great.
Sadly, this book wasn’t my cup of tea, but I kinda knew that before starting it. Sci-fi isn’t generally my thing. 🤷🏼
