I’m quite glad the exciting times are over as they weren’t so exciting. My review is kinda mixed. The plot is slow. Maybe I’m just not a fan of the love triangle plot. This is the first one I’ve read and I probably won’t read another.
For me, there are a few too many words I don’t know. I really enjoy learning new words, but I don’t wanna have to look up 2-3 words every other sentence.
The writing is good. I think I might have had an exciting time without the love triangle and with a half as many words to look up.
I’m unsure how well the culture was portrayed with the TEFL kids learning English and having English first names. Whether it’s fiction or real, I really hate this concept. People shouldn’t have to change and conform to the way of the British just because they colonized the whole world.
