I love how their were letters interspersed with the chapters. I feel like they added a lot of depth.
What a great read. It definitely made me mad at points. Mad that Danny wouldn’t say what was on his mind and just as mad that he did bad things. But, it’s realistic, so I appreciate it.
As far as a lgbtqia+ book, I was left wanting more. Though, again, this was a rather realistic representation. I appreciate that Danna had a story and that his dealing with queerness was just another layer and not the main focus.
I will say, the end really threw me off. I didn’t expect it, though I guess I should have
