I was worried about how this book would go, because we didn't get to see much of Nadia and even less of Griffin in the previous books, and their age gap when they initially meet. However, Elsie Silver did this couple justice, as usual! Nadia is such a strong girl and endured so much; I wanted her to have a happy ending and I was so amazed by the level of maturity and intelligence she displayed. Griffin is your typical gruff, mysterious, aloof grump but his secret disability makes him put his shield up when he's such a vulnerable softy with a huge heart underneath. I'm a sucker for a small town romance, and this book also has the brother's best friend trope, age gap between the couple, a heroine with a dark past and a former pro athlete hero with disability representation. At first glance, Nadia and Griffin did not seem like a match but their scars and the way they helped each other see their best sides and heal made them perfect for each other. They had electric chemistry from the start, despite Griffin saying very little. As always, Elsie Silver writes some spice that is unmatched. I also adored Stefan and Nadia's sibling relationship and the way it grew and developed throughout the last two books. I didn't want this series to end, particularly because that means I had to say goodbye to Stefan and Mira (my favorite couple and story from the series), but it was such a good way to finish the series. I also appreciated that we get to see all of the couples and their kids, and it was the perfect ending to an amazing series. 

This is my second favorite in the series! When I tell you I loved Violet and Cole, I am not exaggerating. They were such a breath of fresh air for so many reasons. We get to see Cole in the first book, but he's mysterious and aloof, and quite honestly, a real dick. I immediately wanted to know more, so I looked forward to reading this book. I just wanted to know what Cole whispered in Violet's ear in the first book! Well, we find out pretty quickly and it's definitely juicy. The chemistry between them, both what they had in the past, and what they have in the present, was so palpable and crazy to deny for either of them. This is an age gap, close proximity, second chance romance with quite the slow burn and a grumpy/sunshine duo that rivals many others. I absolutely adore how much Violet saw though Cole and knew he was just hiding due to his hurt, and how she loved him for him and didn't care about the things he thought would be dealbreakers. It was so pure and beautiful watching them help each other heal. I love the veteran/wounded warrior representation as well, mainly because the author doesn't make Cole weak or not deserving of anything other than a full, wonderful life despite his past and his injuries. As always, the smut is so delicious. This made me laugh, cry, swoon and blush. Elsie Silver is just so a great writer and can envoke emotion in a way others just can't. 

This was actually so flipping good! My expectations were low but wow, I was blown away. This is a single POV, first person, boss/employee, grumpy/sunshine romance. This was definitely a sweet and delicious slow burn as they didn't even touch each other until like, two thirds of the way through the book. The tension and the chemistry and the banter, my goodness, was some of the best I have ever read. And Hayes Flynn? He's that rich, grumpy guy whose got that soft spot for you and who you will fall for. Tali is one of my favorite FMC! Do not sleep on this book - I promise you will not regret reading it!
