This is my favorite book of the series! I loved everything about this: friends to lovers, tutor/student, fake dating, Taylor Swift coded, college romance, neurodivergent MMC, curvy/plus size FMC, overcoming people pleasing FMC, and so much more. I thought this book was so well done and Hannah Grace's best book yet. Halle and Henry had such palpable chemistry and I loved seeing their friendship blossom and grow into something more. This was more than just a romance because it has such great demonstrations of love, friendship, positive, healthy boundaries and mental health representation. I loved the vulnerability of the characters and how ultimately the story is about finding joy in what makes you your own authentic self and the importance of prioritizing yourself and the relationships that help you thrive. While both Halle and Henry seem like they couldn't be more different, they actually had so much to teach each other and it was great reading their journey about becoming the best version of themselves.
I really loved this follow up to Gator Queen! The story continues for Maggie and her sister Vera, along with Jack. Maggie is the local gator wrangler but this book features a different setting: a conference about the dangers of hunting for cryptids, like Bigfoot. As per usual, Maggie finds herself embroiled in another murder, one she didn't commit but is dedicated to solving. This book is the perfect blend of whodunnit and romcom, both of which I really enjoyed. It's laugh out loud hilarious, it's mysterious and suspenseful, it's got romance, and it's also sweet and cozy too. I like that the author continued to explore the relationship between Maggie and Jack, and I really love them together. This series is just so fun and a good time that will have you wanting more!
This is such a fun and wild ride! I love a good cozy mystery and this was laugh out loud hilarious too. It was the perfect blend of who dunnit and humor that I really enjoy. I like the concept of a female gator trapper, and it's just fun to have a rival gator trapper be murdered and the main character be the suspect. Throw in a really naive sister, a good looking but serious cop, a tattoed criminology professor who is writing a book about serial killers and lives next door and is willing to help solve the murder while looking hot doing it, a Florida setting that's so accurate, a cast of shady characters, an adorable cat named Catsy, and you have yourself a really good time. This kept my attention and I didn't stop reading the whole way through! I think this is the perfect blend of mystery and suspense with a romcom that really elevated the book. I'm really looking forward to the next book!
This was amazing and my absolute favorite of the series. I loved every single thing about it! First of all, the cover is simply gorgeous. I have read the first two books in the series and loved them, and I was so excited to read about Rafael and Charlie. I think one of my favorite things about this book is the representation. Both Rafael and Charlie have ADHD, Rafael is dyslexic, and Charlie is autistic. I love when books fetaure neurodivergent characters and the author handled this so well. I feel like Charlie was quite accurately portrayed, and her strengths and weaknesses with autism were handled with the utmost care. Rafael and Charlie know each other because of their mutual friends, but they have always shared a dislike for each other. However, Charlie enlists Rafael's help with her romance novel writing, and Rafael in exchange asks for Charlie's help with a family project. What began as a reluctant deal to help each other, becomes an actual attraction and eventually love. Rafael was such a sweetheart and literally the perfect man, despite Charlie thinking differently of him from the beginning. To be considered is to be loved, and Rafael embodies this statement. At first glance, it seems like these two would not get along at all and couldn't be any different but it turns out they have more in common than they think. I loved their journey, because they began as enemies, then friends, then more, and it was just so beautiful from start to finish. I seriously did not want it to end! Cristina Santos is such a wonderful writer, and I really felt so connected to the characters and so immersed in the story. I loved getting to see and hear about the characters from the previous books; it was like coming home to family. This book is just so special to me and I know I will be thinking about it forever!
Thank you to NetGalley and Cristina Santos for the eARC of this book!

This might be my favorite Laura Pavlov book to date! This was just so good. I love a good small town, single father romance and this did not disappoint. I have been waiting for Nash's story and of course, more of our favorite little guy, Cutler aka Beefcake! This sort of reminded me of Virgin River, because you have a new, young doctor move to town to take over the aging doctor's practice, but in this case, the young doctor clashes with the single father who is very protective of his son. Emerson is tasked with helping to care for Cutler, who has pretty severe asthma and Nash is not too fond of her... at first. He loves his son so much and you can tell his reservations stem for simply being scared for his son, but he and Emerson don't exactly get along at first, but they soon warm up to each other. Emerson is so fearless and such an amazing person and Nash is a sweetheart underneath the gruff exterior. Cutler is just the most adorable little boy and stole the show so many times! This book was just so funny, sweet, and of course, super hot.
I feel like the book started out well, and there were certain aspects I liked, but some things I didn't like. There's so much back and forth between these two, and it just became a lot. He rejects her numerous times because they "can't do this" but then they are constantly back and forth with one another. It was a lot. Her sister was really annoying and kept giving her opinion and trying to dissaude Alaina from dating Roan and I just wanted to scream a few times. A lot of this just wasn't enticing and written quite bland. I didn't feel like there was a spark, even with that forbidden aspect. Overall, it was fine but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.
Wow, this was an amazing book and really resonated with me because of what I am currently going through. I can deeply relate to Avery and her journey with endometriosis, as this is something I have struggled with. I am also currently struggling with it again, and contemplating another surgery due to symptoms and quality of life. I teared up a few times with this book because Avery provided me much needed representation, and I love that Sydney Wilder created this character and her journey. Devin was just such a sweetheart and gives hope to those who feel broken and like no one will see them and love them. His own journey hurt my heart but his redemption was so wonderful and just shows you can't judge a book by its cover and the best kinds of people are the ones you least expect. The elements of table top gaming were so spot on too, and made the book even more fun and meaningful. I also felt like Sydney Wilder handled the religious trauma depths and heaviness really well and I loved Avery's journey of self-discovery within this realm. This book was fun and lighthearted at times but also so impactful and important. I truly loved this book so much and highly recommend it!
I'm not entirely sure what it is, but Devney Perry just doesn't write like she used to. This really fell flat for me and bothered me in so many ways. It started off pretty decent, then went downhill. Faye becomes insufferable and Rush just didn't seem all that interested in being a dad. They were both careless and reckless - she's a waitress in a small town and is basically poor, but tells Rush they don't need a condom and he, a football star who hopes to make it to the NFL, agrees and then surprise, surprise... she's pregnant and both of them act like it's life ruining. Also, Maverick was SO mean and evil and I just couldn't get past that. It was so unnecessary. Like, I understand warning your friend but he was just cruel to Faye when she hadn't given him a reason to. I honestly didn't feel like these two had much chemistry at all and it was pretty bland. Sigh. I hope for better in her next books, but I'm not so sure.
I love a good second chance romance, and even more so, a small town romance written by Megan McSpadden! She's mastered the art of combining small town, witty banter, laugh out loud moments, heartfelt scenes, representation, and my favorite tropes. This is so charming and cute and cozy and I think it should be on everyone's list!
I absolutely love this hockey romance series and I need more! Hockey spice with a plot + found family vibes + texts on page + a cat dad + a guy who doesn't date but will do anything for the girl he likes + a one night stand + a workplace romance. This book has everything and this definitely is so much more than a hockey romance. I really loved the diversity of this book, and how much Jaxon cared about Lennox and would go out of his way to do literally anything for her. Their meet cute is both funny and frustrating, but it grew on me how they began their relationship and the journey of falling in love. This was just so much FUN and I cannot wait for Emmett's book!
