Morgan Elizabeth can do no wrong and this was honestly one of her best books yet! Think Miss Congeniality but with spice and so much more. Ava enters the Miss Americana just to help out her friends, but ends up winning the whole thing without really meaning to. As part of her crown duties, she must go on a cross country road trip to promote the pangeant, but she has been receiving threats lately because of her win and rise to stardom, so she is assigned a bodyguard to protect her. I absolutely love Ava, because she is so much more than meets the eye and is not your typical beauty queen. She's down to earth, funny, caring, and is not superficial or just another dumb blonde. Jaime has been working for Five Star Security for a while now, but is reassigned to Ava until his regular client, Atlas Oaks, goes on tour again. Jaime reluctantly goes on this job, only to protect his contract and his retirement. If he does well, he will be that much closer to his retirement and won't have to worry anymore. However, Ava is not what he thinks she is and their chemistry is off the charts, irresistible to even a serious man like Jaime Wilde. This book was just such a good time and so much fun, from the banter, to the spice, to the mystery, to the road trip, to the drama. I loved every single thing about this book and I am so grateful I was able to receive an ARC of this perfect book!

Ugh, I love everything about this series and Chelsea Curto never disappoints me. This might be her best book yet! I love Lacey and Shawn so much, but man oh man, did Reid and Avery just steal the top spot. Reid and Avery are rival social media managers for two different football teams. They've been at war with each other, but only through DMs and they have no idea who each other really is. They have a chance meeting where they have a one night stand but then agree to basically be friends with benefits, but they still don't know each other's identities. And when they do find out... well, the feelings they've already been experiencing cause even more conflict due to the nature of their jobs. They decide to place a bet to see who can garner more ticket sales for their teams, all while trying their best NOT to fall for each other. I really loved the premise of this book! We have rivals to lovers/enemies to lovers vibes, but they are also friends. Reid is a sweetheart but the mouth on him is something else! He takes such care in all areas of his life and is so meticulous, that it transfers to ALL areas of his life. He and Avery truly get to know each other and learn about each other. This was emotional at times, especially during the times where Avery talked about what it was like to be a woman working in sports. This book was simply perfection and I cannot WAIT for the next book!

Ex's dad romance? Sign me up! This was just so good, and I love any kind of forbidden romance, so this was just right for me. We also love a good cowboy and Colt was just that. The tropes in this book are delicious: grumpy cowboy, age gap, ex boyfriend's dad, snowed in, forced proximity, boss/employee. There was a good plot to this too, which I appreciated. It did have a LOT of spice, but I felt like it was all balanced well. I loved the inner conflict that both Colt and Layla go through. There was drama, there was lots of emotions, there was laugh out loud moments, plenty of banter and spice, and just an all around great book that kept me engaged and wanting more. I'm really looking forward to the next book in this series!

I have mixed feelings about this book, because I liked some parts of it and didn't like other parts. I'm a huge Formula 1 fan, so I was really interested in this book. The cover is super cute, and I love the diversity. I think the author did significant research on F1 because these details were very accurate. I didn't like that Dev was constantly talking about getting some action and yet would also say how obsessed he was Willow. She also said she couldn't be with Dev because she needed her "brother's permission" and this definitely rubbed me the wrong way. I also didn't feel the chemistry between these two and it just felt like more of the same old, same old. I know F1 is popular right now, but this was really nothing new and I was disappointed.

OMG THIS WAS SO GOOD! First of all, this is a second chance accidental pregnancy with her ex husband, divorced enemies to lovers, black cat/golden retriever. Those tropes are such a hit in this book! From the very start, I was invested in Chloe and Gus's story. I mean, Chloe literally buys her ex husband's family business just for revenge. They were married young, then divorced, and haven't seen each other in years but Chloe is still hlding a grudge and decides that this is the perfect way to get back at the man who broke her heart. However, it's clear that her revenge plan isn't going to phase Gus and there is still a spark between them and definitely unfinished business. Throw in a one night stand and an accidental pregnancy that brings them back together, and we have a funny and a emotional story about two exes finding their way back to each other. The way Gus was so in it from the very moment he not only saw Chloe again, but also when he found out she was pregnant, was so sweet and swoonworthy. This is such a cute romance about forgiveness, an unplanned pregnancy, second chance with a first love, and a hot lumberjack and his girlboss baby mama he's still madly in love with. Ugh, I just loved this so much. This series is so good. The covers are beautiful, the stories are awesome, and I cannot WAIT for the next book!

This is an age gap, brother's ex girlfriend, small town romance that features a hot lumberjack and the woman who works for him but also previously dated his brother for a long time. I really loved Owen and Lila, their history, and how they overcome their obstacles. Owen is trying to save his family's lumber business in Maine, and although he wants nothing to do with small town Maine, his family needs him to sort out the books and arrange a buyer for the company. His assistant just happens to be his little brother's ex, who Owen really likes from the very beginning, but he feels he can't act on due to his brother. Owen is swoony though, and goes above and beyond for Lila. In one instance, she has Celiac disease and tells him she's missing pizza and he literally buys every ingredient and gluten free flour to try and create the perfect pizza for her. He's perfection! Everything about this was so good. The banter, the family drama, the spice… it has everything anf I really enjoyed reading it. This book was just effortlessly entertaining and I found myself so wrapped up in it, and really rooting for Owen, Lila, and the business. I loved the way it ended and I cannot WAIT for the next book!

I love returning to Aspen Grove and I absolutely adored Cash and Everly's story! The tropes are basically billionaire + best friend’s sister + drunk wedding in Las Vegas = If You Give a Billionaire a Bride. Everly has crushed on Cash since they were younger, but that's her brother's best friend and he was always out of reach. Cash is a reformed playboy and has always had a thing for her, but she was always out of reach as well, as his best friend's sister. Cash also has a really defining scar on his face from an accident, but it doesn't stop him. I loved the growth between both Cash and Everly, separately and together. There's something about a "my wife" character and how they are down bad for their wife and would do anything. I loved the plot and it was just so fun but meaningful too. I love this series and can't wait for the next book!

If you're looking for the juicy gossip on the author and her former husband, you won't find it here. This is about the author's stay in an inpatient psychiatric facility, what got her there, and how she has navigated and will navigate her mental health. This is poignant, thought provoking, funny, and emotional, but most of all, so necessary and so brave. She talks about very difficult, so be warned, but it's a journey of self-discovery and trying to love yourself. It's raw and real, but I feel like a lot of us can relate and can see ourselves in Anna and what she has been through and continues to deal with. This book will likely make you angry too, because men fail us, the system fails us... so many people and places fail us. I think this is a book that will sit with me for awhile.

Wow, this book was just so good! I'm a veteran so a military romance is right up my alley. I was especially intrigued because it's a saphhic romance with two women, one who is in the military during the time of Don't Ask, Don't Tell. This romance spans more than a decade and is forbidden, but begins with a meet cute between Sydney and Reagan, and their journey is both heartbreaking and beautiful. They work hard at figuring out ways to be together and know they are destined for each other. I really liked the military aspect of this book, and I felt it was written well. There is a great plot with a lot of character growth and a dual POV that gives you great insight to the characters, Overall, I really enjoyed this book.

Thank you to NetGalley, Krystina Rivers, and Bold Strokes Books for the eARC of this book.

I love returning to Outtatowner and read another wonderful King brother story! This is a small town romance, with a single mom and a hero who has a criminal past and a bad family, but truly has a heart of gold. I loved Abel because he's quiet and grumpy but it's more of a defense mechanism and he's actually quite the sweetheart. I loved how much he adored Sloane's twins! Sloane and Abel enter into a mutually beneficial marriage of convenience, even though he's her boss. Abel was just so misunderstood and wasn't as bad as everyone thought and I'm so glad that Sloane could see him for who he really is and show him that he deserves love. I love the element of mystery and suspense with the family and the Kings' father and the rivalry between the Kings and the Sullivans. I really want to know what happened to Abel's mom and I especially need to see Abel's father rot! This was so good and I love returning to this series again and again and can't wait for the next book!
