I feel like the book started out well, and there were certain aspects I liked, but some things I didn't like. There's so much back and forth between these two, and it just became a lot. He rejects her numerous times because they "can't do this" but then they are constantly back and forth with one another. It was a lot. Her sister was really annoying and kept giving her opinion and trying to dissaude Alaina from dating Roan and I just wanted to scream a few times. A lot of this just wasn't enticing and written quite bland. I didn't feel like there was a spark, even with that forbidden aspect. Overall, it was fine but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.
