I thoroughly enjoyed the world of Saga, and I can't wait for the next chapters to be released! I could definitely see myself re-reading this series, which is why I give it 5 stars!

The first half dragged for me, but the second half really intrigued me. I like the gothic approach and the 1950s Mexico setting. The mystery is super fascinating and the reveals really paid off.

This book is lighthearted and funny, but the plot uses a lot of dramatic irony. So if you're like me and find dramatic irony mostly painful and anxiety-inducing, perhaps put this book aside! By the end I was glad I finished reading it, but I did need a pep talk from a friend who already read it to push past my initial discomfort with the dramatic irony.
