informative reflective medium-paced

This book may not be for everyone, but I resonated deeply with the experiences of the author and many of her peers she interviewed. I'll be thinking about this one for a long time.

While I found some characters interesting, the books was not what I thought it would be. Many of the characters felt underdeveloped.

Wasn't that into it. Plus didn't love the big "she's Black!" reveal. Why did that have to be a big reveal and not just part of the book to begin with?
