This book is lighthearted and funny, but the plot uses a lot of dramatic irony. So if you're like me and find dramatic irony mostly painful and anxiety-inducing, perhaps put this book aside! By the end I was glad I finished reading it, but I did need a pep talk from a friend who already read it to push past my initial discomfort with the dramatic irony.
