Fated Mates: An MM Paranormal Romance Charity Anthology
Kelly Fox, J.P. Sayle, Vinni George, Michelle Frost, Grae Bryan, Lee Colgin, Meghan Maslow, Ariana Nash, Jennifer Cody, Kelex, Lisa Oliver, Louisa Masters, Michele Notaro, Nik Knight, Chloe Archer, Kiki Clark, H.L Day, A.J. Sherwood, Sheena Jolie, Mia Monroe
Loved the short stories in the segment I received as an ARC. Looking forward to reading the full anthology.
Jennifer Cody - The Crow Kings Mate
Arlo is such a sweet soul who believes people think he’s weird as he feeds the crows that seem to follow him. He’s also crushing hard on the very sexy Professor Bloom. When Arlo’s whole world view is changed he just accepts it all gets his HEA with the Crow King. I loved the rambling internal monologues from Arlo that added so much to the story.
Grae Bryan - Fate’s Treasure
Mal (40) has never felt that he’s belonged or had a connection to another. He feels drawn to Oregon and moves to a remote cabin in the woods where his wonderfully named dog Bacon leads him to the home of his neighbour. Alistair is a dragon shifter who has waited centuries for his mate. His loneliness is overcome when Mal stumbles across his property and the bonding begins for the fated pair.
HL Day - Deader Than Dead
Necromancer John attempts to raise Bellamy from the dead but believes he’s unsuccessful. Circumstances bring these fated mates together again and there’s plenty of drama as they try to outrun and outwit the villains of the piece. With assistance from beyond the veil and the power of their bond, these two engaging characters overcome all obstacles and get their well deserved HEA.
Lisa Oliver - Words Not Necessary
I love the Magic Users of Greenford Trilogy where Rocky and Neo are briefly introduced. This prequel featuring them shows what a difficult life Neo has endured until he and Rocky cross paths. They become aware that they are not only magically compatible but also fated mates all whilst trying to solve a case.
Meghan Maslow - As The Raven Flies.
Set in the Charm City Chronicles world where there’s always some action/drama and a dash of angst this novella doesn’t disappoint. Raven shifter Abe and dire wolf Michael work together as bodyguards but when it comes to their mating things don’t start off very well. They get their well deserved HEA but not without some ups and downs along the way.

George and Murphy are just the sweetest. George is a bee keeper, autistic and has the cutest pug named Bumble. Murphy is the slightly grumpy local publican and brewer of mead. They have been crushing on each other for years until they finally gather the courage to go on a date. A date where a murder occurs and Murphy is a prime suspect. So begins their amateur sleuthing which includes the help of some wonderful friends.
I loved how Murphy excels at knowing what George needs when everything gets too much for him. I also enjoyed the feel of this small village, slow burn romance/murder mystery. The romance is very low key, just the occasional kiss and comforting touch which makes it oh so sweet. The mystery is engaging and has a few suspects but wasn’t hard to pick the eventual outcome. I look forward to the next book and more of George and Murphy.

Wow, the feels hit me during the first 10 sentences of the prologue and then it was impossible to put this book down. Ferry has waited 4000 years and many lifetimes to be with his mate Leo permanently. The depth of his love knows no bounds and he’ll do anything to ensure Leo is happy, even if that means not being with Leo the way he desperately wants. Leo struggles with his attraction to Ferry but is all in after he accepts that he’s not straight and can no longer deny the feelings he has for Ferry.
The story telling ability of this author had me crying due to Ferry’s circumstances and then laughing out loud at him adjusting to a new modern world. There’s so much passion and tenderness between this wonderful couple but also strength and stubbornness. All these traits and more are needed as they fight an unknown enemy to get their long awaited and well deserved HEA.
I loved the originality of the Grim Reaper angle and the complex world building. There’s the perfect balance between the romance, the plot and the strong character elements which kept me fully engaged from start to finish. Old friends are included alongside some new interesting characters and I can’t wait for Sebastian’s story to be told next.
