I loved every moment of this delightfully sassy and engaging friends to lovers age gap romance which has all the hallmarks of a Lily Morton book.
Pip is so vibrant and energetic yet sensitive and tactful. He’s also fearless, funny and full of sass and the perfect compliment to the self assured and outgoing Olivier who can be a touch naughty and very sarcastic. After a steam filled anonymous hook up circumstances bring them into each other’s orbit again 12 months later in the south of France. As they spend time together sharing a villa and exploring the countryside a friendship develops, which later morphs into a steamy summer fling with agreed upon boundaries.
There’s plenty of sizzling chemistry and steam between these two wonderful men as well as loads of sass and snark which left me laughing. Drama from a family member left me seething and whilst their HEA left me smiling, Pio and Olivier still managed to give me some feels along the way.
I loved visiting with some of the characters from book one and also enjoyed being introduced to the interesting cast of side characters. I can’t wait to see who gets their story told next.

4.5 stars.
There’s plenty of action and drama as another member of the Four Kings found family finds his way to an HEA. Bodyguard and former Navy SEAL Saint begins to question his sexuality as he finds himself becoming very interested in just retired Fire Chief Val.
Having known each other for years but not really spending time alone together, circumstances change and they are constantly with each other. Their attraction between them is undeniable as is the chemistry that constantly sparks between them. Before too long the friendship morphs into more and the heat rises ensuring plenty of steamy moments.
The unexpected villain of the piece does everything possible to destroy Saint and Val but with the help of the Four Kings family the outcome is a well deserved and hard earned HEA for these two very likeable characters.
It was wonderful being back in the Four Kings universe and I can’t wait for the next instalment this spin off series.

This is another enjoyable and engaging instalment in the Paranormal Council Enforcer series.
Gargoyle Castiel is the Council’s only psychiatrist and is overwhelmed with work so dragon Garin is employed to help ease the burden. Upon his arrival it’s immediately recognised that these two wonderful men are fated mates but that doesn’t guarantee that all will go well with the mating.
It takes some harsh words directed towards others for them to finally get the time together to bond.
There’s plenty of steamy times as well as sweet tenderness in this heartwarming fated mates romance which also includes some interesting moments with family members. I’m looking forward to reading the next in the series.

All of Quaid’s anxieties, insecurities and worst case scenario thoughts come to the fore when he sees that Aslan is hiding something from him. He fears that his greatest fear is about to happen. Meanwhile all Aslan is trying to do is create the “perfect” marriage proposal but nothing is going to plan resulting in suspicion raising unsuccessful attempts. A sudden case 4 hours away has him leaving Quaid at a moments notice which has Quaid quickly succumbing to his destructive thoughts.
The serial killer case that Aslan and Torin are working is intriguing and engaging with plenty of twists and turns. The suspect pool is a mixed bag of interesting characters and I was blindsided with the eventual outcome. During the course of the investigation Aslan and Quaid get time together and
all of Quaid’s fears are finally alleviated after a Aslan finally manages a successful proposal that they will talk about for years to come.
I loved every moment of this book and was hooked from start to finish. The intricacies of the murder case is woven perfectly with the marriage proposal/relationship elements which once again highlights the beautiful relationship between these two strong but flawed characters. We also get to see Quaid use ‘the face’ on numerous occasions, an unusual game of mini golf and an unforgettable marriage proposal. I loved this latest Valor and Doyle series instalment and can’t wait for Matrimonial Merriment!

4.5 stars. Wonderful college romance.
Archer is a privileged frat boy with a heart of gold who can’t help being a fixer, he can also be a smidge oblivious. Eli is a sassy, funny twink who makes ends meet by posing for life drawing classes.
Circumstances have these two likeable characters enter each other’s orbit and so begins a merry dance as they make their way to an HEA.
A dance that includes unsuccessful dates arranged by Archer for Eli, bros just being bros who happen to kiss, shirtless sweaty frat boys playing flag football and a frat bro who finally sees what’s in front him. I loved how Archer fully accepted his bisexuality without any angst and fully embraced this newly discovered part of himself.
There’s also plenty of banter between Archer and Eli which meant I spent a lot of the book giggling and their HEA left me with a huge smile on my face and a happy heart. The cast of side characters within the frat house keep things interesting and I can’t wait for more in the series. Overall I found this to be a very enjoyable lighthearted read with minimal angst, a great cast of main and secondary characters and just the right amount of steam.
