This book was absolutley amazing. Each and every character in this book was beautifully written. The coalition of arab culture, strories within a story, aladdin references, hint of mystism, everything kept me from keeping the book down.
The chemistry between Shahrzad and Khalid was on fleek. Shahrzad was strong headed while Khalid's character was so elusive. My favorite part was, obviously, the writing and the story. I am very much anxious now to read the next book in the series.

Let's be honest, it's hard to ignore that eye catching cover, isn't it? I bought this book for two reasons: first was the cover, obviously, and second was the fact that this book was about wolves. Anyway, it is one of those book that is beautiful and boring as hell at the same time. I will not recommend this book to anyone, but if anyone still want to read it, i will advice them to read the first and last three chapters of the book, the middle is where the writer rant about the things that are insignificant to the story. The reason i am giving this book 3 stars is because this book was meant for children not for someone who is in his 20s, maybe that's the reason why i didnt like this book that much.
No no hell noooo!
The writer couldnt make his point or maybe he did and missed it. :/ I knew this book was for economics experts, i only picked it up in the hope to learn a thing or two, but this book went over my head.

It's fascinating to read about strategies that were written centuries ago but are still practiced in both the business world and actual wars. But because it was a translation, the writing bored me to death. It was very difficult to read but I managed it somehow.
This was, for me, a solid 4 star book. It was very entertaining, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I mean, who wouldn't enjoy reading about time travel and pirates, right? Etta's character was beautifully written and her mom - Rose - was the worst mom in the whole world or should I say time? lol. I didn't like Nicholas, he was ok but reading his perspective was just boring - he liked to rant and think a lot for no reason. The romance between Etta and Nicholas was distracting and sometimes very cheesy, and I am sensing that the next book will have corniest love triangle between Etta, Nicholas and Julian.
overall the book was amazing and I highly recommend checking this one out.

The story was about a girl named Lennie dealing with the grief of her sister's unexpected death. Four weeks after the death of her sister, she faced the biggest challenge of her life: she couldn't decide who to sleep with - the new guy in town or her sister's ex. She ended up getting the taste of both worlds, by making her grieving an excuse to justify her bad decisions. The book had a lot of potential but the author failed in creating a compelling storyline.
I hated this book mainly because of the extremely lame storyline and superficial characters. The writing was dry and the poems added nothing to the storyline, they were just there to remind us - the readers - that the girl, besides making out with guys, was actually grieving. I felt no symphathy for her, because the only thing she did was to think about boners and making out with the two men in her life. deperate much?

The major problem with this book is its pace and resemblence with Harry Potter. No complaints from rainbow rowell's writing, though. However, the story was dragged and the ending - the major part of the story - that you most probably will read this book for was rushed and was extremely disappointing. This book is a prove that Rainbow Rowell can only write romance books. The chemistry between baz and Simon was great, but it shouldnt have been the highlight of the whole story as it wasnt a romance novel. Anyway, I am glad the book is over, now I can read something good.

People with abondened knowledge of science would love this book but a person like me who doesn't know about a lot of stuff would find it difficult to keep up. It's a history book; it's only going to tell you how certain things were discovered not what that thing actually is. The writing is extremely tedious and boring. First chapter was interesting, loved the wit of the author in it, but rest of the chapters were dry as hell.

I absolutely love this book. Such a well thought of and deeply researched book. It's the kind of book you would want to read whenever you are low or want some inspiration. You can't have friend better than this book period.

" when the night goes on for ever and the little light of you is going out and there is nothing to grab on to. you just hold on tight."
I love this book way better than "The girl with all the gifts", which, in my opinion, was half baked. This book, on the other hand, couldn't be more perfect. I highly recommend it.
In a nutshell, This book was pretty strange, creepy and dark. It went to all the places I didn't think it would. There was so much going on in this book; there were druggies, drug trafficking, murders, court drama and most importantly ghosts.
Jess moulson had pleaded guilty for the murder she had no memory of committing, but the world around her had made her believe that she, somehow, was responsible for the death of an innocent child.
"Facts are in the outside world. You can verify them with your sense or objective tests. Truth is something people build inside their heads, using the facts as raw marerial. And sometimes the facts get bent or broken in the process."
In prison, to punish and free herself of the guilt she had been feeling, she declared a hunger strike. Little did she know that someone was there, with her, in her cell who wanted her to live. It's Alex- the kid she allegedly killed. Alex had forgotten everything, and he wanted to remember who he was and who killed him. He needed help that only Jess could provide.
dum spiro spero ( while I breath, I hope)
Alex made her see that she wasn't responsible for his death but someone else was. someone who needed to be held accountable. Jess makes it her life's mission to get out of the prison and find out the real culprit. But was Alex real? Or someone she made it up to comfort herself? And if the ghost was real, was it really a ghost of Alex or someone else? Did she shape the ramshackled body she saw in her dream into Alex? These questions haunts you till the very end.
Besides all this drama there was something else going on too, in the prison. The prison- fellside- was ruled by grace and delvin, who were using the inmates for drug trafficking. Those who tried to stand in the way of grace and delvin ended up dead so everyone follows their order now without questioning.
All these stories connects in the end and makes for a extremely terrifying and shocking climax.
The only complaint I have from this book is that it had too many characters and sometimes those characters were called with their first names, sometimes with their last names and sometimes with their nick names, It was hard to keep up, and it took me a while to get into the prison drama, I was more interested in jess's story.
If you are into horror, psychological thrillers and court drama you should definitely check this book out.
