Holy crap. This was so good. I almost screamed at the end because of what went down. I guessed a few twists, but I never guessed the big twist at the end. This was very well done and even better than The Hunting Party.
The Guest List takes place on a remote Irish island for a high profile wedding. This book is told in several point of views where everyone has secrets. Someone is murdered and about everyone has a motive. Who dies? Who did it? Why?

Had to read for work. It was interesting to learn about Fred the Postman and how he viewed work. I thought this was good, but thought there was something missing.
I need more! So good. I love seeing the character development and the world building expand more in this novel. There was a good amount of action and problems peppered throughout this.
Unravel Me takes place a few weeks after the events of Shatter Me. Juliette is learning about her powers, trying to find out Adam’s secret, and trying to fit in at the compound. Will she be able to let go the thought that maybe she isn’t a monster and let people in?

Very cringe worthy and petty. Roxy writes letters to her ex boyfriend who is now living with her. I found it to be super juvenile and that the author tried too hard to make Roxy seem super flawed. Didn’t feel realistic and hard to connect with Roxy.
This was so good and addicting. This takes place right after the last book. There are secrets that come out and way more romance. The slower moments were sweet and makes up for the ending, which is adrenaline packed.
I’m a sucker for an enemies to lovers trope, but this felt so forced to me. It had its moments of cuteness and being funny, but something felt like it was missing from the book. I wish I felt more connected with the characters as well.

This is probably my favorite Lisa Jewel book now. It is very twisty, dark, and suspenseful. I never guessed any of the twists at all, so they all completely shocked me. This was a wonderful slow burn thriller that won’t leave you disappointed.
Three members of a cult commit a planned suicide pact and leave a baby in her nursery. Some how she is cared for. Did they actually commit suicide or was it murder? Where did the teenage siblings go? What is that baby up to now? What about that house?

This was a super cute, super sweet romance. Keely is in high school and isn’t interested in the boys at her high school. She then meets Dean, a college Junior and falls for him hard. Will she be able to be in a relationship or fall for someone else along the way? I loved the friendship dynamic of this book. It was so cute and I wanted more.
The twist at the ending was crazy and something I was not suspecting. Restore Me takes place a few weeks after Ignite Me and focuses on Juliette and Warner’s point of views. They are dealing with the repercussions of what happened at the end of Ignite Me and trying to navigate through new roles in their lives. There are secrets and betrayals in this book. I docked a star because it was slow.
Unpopular opinion alert. I didn’t like this book as much as I thought I would. I thought I would love this book and it would be absolutely amazing, but it fell short for me. I neither love it or hate it. This book is heavy and deals with a lot of personal things, which isn’t a bad thing. I liked that because it made the characters more real. But, it wasn’t this amazing romance and felt like the romance was forced to happen to make it a romance book, if that makes sense. It had a greater focus on the heavier topics. Also, I could not connect with the characters.
