Unpopular opinion alert. I didn’t like this book as much as I thought I would. I thought I would love this book and it would be absolutely amazing, but it fell short for me. I neither love it or hate it. This book is heavy and deals with a lot of personal things, which isn’t a bad thing. I liked that because it made the characters more real. But, it wasn’t this amazing romance and felt like the romance was forced to happen to make it a romance book, if that makes sense. It had a greater focus on the heavier topics. Also, I could not connect with the characters.
